Hyper Focus focuses the primary strength of a class further than normal. Its role is to circumvent the rules of the game for the class in question.

Are divers suddenly assassins because they generally do similar things? Is the only real separation Riot's tags which are about as reliable as their old tutorial or recommended items?
DuskDaUmbreon1 votesEven ignoring Riot's classifications, Ahri definitely does not fully fit into mage, given her high mobility. There is an argument for saying that she's an assassin and not a mage, but she's too mobile to be a mage and not an assassin.

Given that the key distinction between them is that Assassins have an escape while divers just have to murder their way out, no.

Are we going to call Warwick, Shyvana, Sett, Zoe, Malphite, etc generally mobile? Not really, no. And warwick, sett, and malph go as far as 2+ of her dashes.
So are Kha, Rengar, Diana, Kat, Qiyana, and Sylas not assassins now? They don't really have escapes.
You MIGHT be able to pull qiyana and kha out of that, but given their general gameplay patterns, they tend to lack escapes along with the others.

Kha can run out under invisibility. Qiyana can run out under invisibility and I think her dashes are low enough cooldown to get out. Kat's dashes are on a more than low enough cooldown and she can dash to allies.
Diana and Sylas were designed as bruisers and are literally not assassins. Diana is no more an assassin than J4 is.

Warwick, Shyvana, Sett, Zoe, Malphite,
All of these have only one dash. Sett's moves forward at only about his fucking walking speed. Zoe's is only a temporary displacement. Shyvana's is short range. Malphite is otherwise very slow. Warwick's the only one you could consider mobile out of that bunch, and that's because he's just fast as fuck.
Ahri has a significant speedup on her passive and an ult that goes significantly farther than any of theirs (except Warwick in some situations). Sure, she's not hypermobile, but it's still more than what could have someone actually considered a mage.
