Mages and Reliability
Many mages are too unreliable. The advantage a mage gets from being ranged compared to an ADC is much smaller. Mages that are blocked by minions, like Morgana, have to land an unreliable ability to even deal any damage to opponents. This makes matchups into champions that don't rely on skillshots very hard and almost impossible to win.
TL;DR - Mages that rely on skillshots or that are completely blocked by minions in lane should be made more reliable with spell width or radius increases. There is such a thing as too much counterplay.

cause jungle
is so easy to win with, why does he have a 45% winrate? I'll tell you why, because hes the hardest mage to play in the game. One of the lowest ranged mages in the game with nothing for survivability except a measly speed boost. He doesn't get the same luxury other scaling mages have either like
and
with point and click or huge AOE damage abilities. All of his damage is put into fluxed Q's and due to the loss of W root he can no longer QWEQ for guarantee'd fluxed damage. Ryze also has to deal with his Q getting blocked by nonfluxed minions, except he doesn't get the luxury of 1200 range on his CC like
do.
