Even with the quests, hots has a way worse gold generation system. God forbid I don't want to play 3 specialist games that day.

They aren't 100% free in HOTS, you have to gain gold in order to unlock them... and that's like 10,000 to unlock it, which takes a massive amount of time.

I noticed they haven't release new chroma packs in awhile. I wonder why but I do wish Riot do more with the chromas than giving some of the packs random colors. I always wondered why they didn't bother making one of Morgana's chroma based on her original color scheme (the green skin). I'm sure we all, myself included, love the new color/texture update to match her current splash art (it was MUCH needed) but it could've payed homage to the original Morg. But nope, a missed opportunity for a meaningful chroma.

Anyway, ever since the introduction of the Mastery, I was hoping that if you reach the maximum level, you can unlock ONE of the chroma of your choice for free and you can buy the other two with RP. I personally think they should've gone this route but eh.
