Brief Lore and Interview:** ** Anivia is demigoddess of Freljord and she is also a guardian in the form of a glacial Phoenix. She is a powerful phoenix, and is definitely respected among the Freljordians when she is mentioned. She is also made of crystals, and that is something she would use to devastate her enemies. A blast of Crystals against those who dare to invade her.

Let's take a look at a brief part of her lore!

Anivia is a benevolent winged spirit who endures endless cycles of life, death, and rebirth to protect the Freljord. A demigod born of unforgiving ice and bitter winds, she wields those elemental powers to thwart any who dare disturb her homeland. Anivia guides and protects the tribes of the harsh north, who revere her as a symbol of hope, and a portent of great change. She fights with every ounce of her being, knowing that through her sacrifice, her memory will endure, and she will be reborn into a new tomorrow.

Anivia suppose to have a lot of interactions with the other Freljordian Demigods, such as, Volibear and Ornn for example. She would normally have interactions with the queens of Freljord, such as, Ashe, Sejuani and Lissandra, and it is more neccessary for her to interact more toward these champions instead of focusing on her enemies because she is afterall not the symbol of aggression, she is the good side of Freljord and perhaps she could interact more with her allies than her enemies. However, she will normally have interactions with a lot of champions so that is something we don't have to worry about either way.

By IBRALUI This Design is actually perfect for her theme and does never feel like the current Anivia where she looks uninteresting to play is when she could look much better for a frosty phoenix who is considered as a demigoddess.

Take a look at how possibly her missle from auto attack could be launched with this design. This Design gives her the visual that she always needed in past, the visuals that both match her gameplay and theme in her lore.

Gameplay Design:

Role: Mid/Jungle Class: Battle Mage

Base Stats:

Health: 480 - 1880 Health Regan: 5.2 - 15 Mana 370 - 930 Mana Regan: 8 - 22 Range: 600 Attack Damage: 52 - 106 Attack Speed: 0.625 +(X based on level) Armor: 22 - 90 Magic Resist: 30 - 40 Movement Speed: 325

I wanted Anivia to keep her mid lane as a main role, but I also wanted her to be viable in jungle because she does look like someone who would come at you from the jungle and blast you with ice shards. The concept of being both viable in mid lane and jungle fits her thematic more, and especially since she is meant to have an ability for a mobility that will help her roaming. We will get through this with the change of abilities.

As for her Abilities, first thing to mention is that her egg has to remain because she is a phoenix and that is something we first look at to keep, but in terms of her other abilities. There are more interesting concepts than a blocking wall, a point and click ice shard, and a an ult that is completetly based on Mana stacking to keep it in the same location to do its work. Therefore, we need an ability to provide her mobility as a phoenix, an ability to provide her form of defense that is used for offense and an ultimate that greatly gives her the thematic of being the demigoddess of Freljord in the form of a crystalline Phoenix.

Kayle's rework level required

Abilities:

Passive [Rebirth]:

Upon taking fatal damage, Anivia dispels all debuffs and transforms into a Shiny Egg for 4 seconds. the Shiny Egg's HP will be based on 50% of Anivia's mana and 25% Of her defenses. If the Shiny Egg endured 4 seconds without being destroyed, Anivia will get back to life with full HP but her Mana point will be equal to the amount of % HP the Shiny Egg had before rebirthing Anivia. If the Shiny Egg dies before rebirthing Anivia, the last target who last hit the Egg will be blinded for 1 second.

Rebirth has no Cooldown

Q [Bursting Frostball]:

Anivia summons a powerful frost ball at a target location that will burst out of ice once it reaches the location, slowing nearby enemies in a small cone by 20% for 1.5 and deals a 80/120/160/200/240 {+70% AP} as magic damage.

First enemy champion hit by the center of the Bursting Frostball will be stunned instead and receives an additional 25% damage from Bursting Frostball.

Cooldown: 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 seconds Mana: 60/65/70/75/80

W [Storm Wings]:

Passive: If Anivia isn't hit for the last 3 seconds, she can fly over the walls

Active: Flies over walls and gains 20/22/24/26/28% Movement speed for the next 3 seconds. Additonally, during that duration, Anivia will receive 25% slow resistance.

Cooldown: 24/21/18/15/12 seconds Mana: 75

E [Crystalline Shard]:

Anivia fires a sharp crystal shard from her body. dealing 40/55/70/85/100 + {20% AP} as magic damage. If casted without targeting, Anivia will automatically target the last enemy champion hit by her auto attacks or abilities.

Anivia can hold up to 1/2/3/4/5 Crystalline shards. Anivia can use one each second before casting another.

Cooldown 5 seconds at all ranks for each shard. Mana: 20

R [Glacial Blasts]:

Anivia calls the wrath of Freljord by bringing a crushing blasts that come from the sky on the target location for the next 3 seconds. Every blast will deal 100/150/200 {+40% AP} magic damage to each enemy in the location and will freeze the ground under them, causing them to be slowed by 30%.

Every enemy champion can only be hit once from each wave. Maximum 3 hits for each enemy champion.

Cooldown: 120/100/80 seconds Mana: 200

Overall Conclusion:

With these changes added to Anivia's kit, she will finally provide her own interesting mechanics in the field and especially no longer wings made for nothing, and less of a stat checking champion to more of strategic-rewarded champion in later game.

Let's have a look at the Pros and Cons!

Pros:

  1. Able to escape and chase with her new W
  2. Area of damages instead of focusing on only 1 target at a time
  3. Passive no longer requires a long cooldown, and added benefit from the death of the egg
  4. Now is able to hold on plenty of shards from her E at later ranks, which will allow to have enough time to deal more damage before dying
  5. An ultimate that provides her an easier access for more powerful combos to land

Cons:

  1. Egg now is not tanky later game, and its HP scales with Anivia's Mana
  2. Anivia will lose a lot of mana when she is rebirthed from a damaged Egg
  3. She can no longer block the movement from her walls
  4. She can no longer 2 combo insta kill a target
  5. Catching her while flying from W will bring her back to ground, and the cooldown is fairly long

Itemization:

Example [1] Core build: item 3003 item 3285 item 3027 item 3116 item 3151 item 3020

Example [2] Jungler build:item 1402 item 3027 item 3116 item 3151 item 3003 item 3117

That concept is made as a suggestion to whenever she would receive a VGU, these ideas are here to support her theme and match her lore. Thanks everyone for the support and feel free to discuss about Anivia here.

I like your concept. But I think the one of her "signature" ability is also her W and R. I would combine those two skills and put they instead of ur W. Then move passive ms into Rebirth ang increasing cdr from 3 sec to 4 maybe 5 sec. Combined W and R at 1st lv. would only slow targets in the area but at 2nd and 3rd after brief delay Anivia creates glacial wall or pillars in the zone.

i really like it yet it doesnt fit well visually with Ornn and new upcoming Voli. Idk but she should have more similarities that you instantly see they are related.
