Seriously Riot, GP comes back and gets a Traditional skin (Yes, that's what it is.) While MF's new and more fitting appearance is gated behind a 975RP price tag. I don't get it, you were supposedly moving away from traditional skins yet now we get one for GP and then MF gets the short stick even though the circumstances are perfect? I won't even go into her problems gameplay wise this rework didn't fix, but this entire event seems to be 70%GP and 30%MF. Give her the same treatment. It's like you're explicitly trying to half-ass your work here. 2 steps forward with the GP rework and 3 steps back with the MF VU.

Are Traditional skins in or out? If you aren't going to fix MF's issues during the Bilgewater event should we hope anything will change in 2016? Rito pls

Uh, no.

This isn't a traditional skin. It looks nothing at all like his model BEFORE the update, which is exactly what a traditional skin is. None of GPs new skins look anything close to 'traditional' GP.

I have no clue how you came to this line of thinking. Do you honestly want me to believe that a few weeks of one model, switching to another, makes the old one 'traditional'? Because it doesn't.

Well, traditional skins help keep the original look of a champion if a visual update changes it too drastically. While the new GP looks similar, people feel the update made him look to old and formal, when compared to the younger look of the sleeveless GP. Like how TF and Grave's pirate skins made them look younger, Traditional GP is for that reason.

Traditional skins are also for if a champion is released with two equal default skins, like with Lee Sin. I'm still waiting for them to bring back Traditional Mundo to be honest.

I fail to see how a formal captain's garb is "more fitting" for a bounty hunter.

I don't even see what's so wrong about MF's visual tweaks, I thought they did what needed to be done. Nothing was wrong with her theme, just a few things like "My guns eat my hands." which they fixed.

I'm flabbergasted that you think Captain Gangplank has enough resemblance to pre-VU Gangplank to be a Traditional skin. (No, that's not what it is.)

The event as of today still has a week, those gameplay fixes are exactly what happens in the final days before shipping out a patch (which is coming after the event), so abandoning all hope right now is just silly. Captain Miss Fortune is -not- more fitting than her base skin, unless she suddenly becomes a hardened pirate captain just because she 'whacked' GP. We've gotten multiple skins, Gangplank's story-lead changes (a first) and skin, Miss Fortune's changes and skin, a new map, and new gamemode, and through all that work, we've decided creative changes that YOU don't agree with are half-assed?

Swear to god, they finally do something most of us wanted, and y'all come crawling out of the woodwork to gripe about it.
