Kaia is a sustained hybrid brawler, adept at fighting through the most dire of situations while remaining within punching reach of enemies.

Lore-wise, she's a darker take on Karma and Irelia, and is a woman unable to make peace with her past.

** Lore **

Daughter of an Ionian martial artist mother and mage father, Kaia's peaceful childhood came to an end when the Noxians invaded her home. Kaia and her family remained ever one step ahead of the invasion forces, until one day the soldiers of Noxus caught up with them. Kaia's parents sacrificed themselves to give her a chance at escape, changing her life forever.

As she grew up, Kaia strove to master what her parents had taught her, her mind and will focused solely on making the Noxians pay for their crimes. Unfortunately for her, the war ended before she was old enough to fight. Unable to hold her anger peacefully, Kaia lashed out at those around her until one day she went too far and committed a crime she could never take back. Let with no other choice, Kaia fled her home forever.

Kaia traveled far and wide, crushing those that stood in her way. Her anger and will drove her through the hardest of times, pushing her to greater heights of strength the more she found herself backed into a corner. Left with nothing but the skills her parents taught her, Kaia has sworn to make Noxus suffer just as she much as she has.

Abilities

Innate: Rising Heart

Passive: Kaia's will and strength grows stronger the more she struggles in combat, granting her .3% Spellvamp and Life Steal for every 1% of her missing health, up to a maximum of 30%.

Q - Second Step

Cost: 14/16/18/20/22 mana Cooldown: 4/3.5/3/2.5/2 seconds. Range: 225

Active: Kaia unleashes a flip kick at a target enemy, inflicting (20/40/60/80/100 + 60% AP) magic damage to them and moving her 75 units toward her target. If Second Step kills the target, the mana cost is refunded. Kaia's auto attacks reduce the cooldown of Second Step by 1 second.

W - Inner Focus

Cost: 50 Mana Cooldown: 26/23/20/17/14 seconds

Passive: Kaia receives 15% reduced damage from autoattacks and targeted abilities that originate from more than 300 units away from her location.

Active: Kaia braces herself and focuses her mind for 1.5 seconds, blocking the next enemy ability used on her. If Kaia successfully blocks an enemy ability she will receive 15% damage reduction and tenacity for (4/5/6/7/8) seconds.

E - Dashing Strike

Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 Mana Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Range: 700

Active: Kaia dashes quickly toward the cursor, passing through enemies in her way and becoming unaffected by targeted abilities. Upon passing through an enemy champion, Kaia stops and unleashes a high kick on them, knocking them up for 1 second and inflicting (90/120/150/180/210 + 60% Bonus AD) physical damage to them.

** R - Blazing Will**

Cost: 100 mana Cooldown: 130/95/60 seconds Range: 600

Active: Kaia's fighting spirit explodes in a torrent of flame, inflicting (200/300/400 + 100% AP) magic damage to all nearby enemies. Afterward, she remains in an enraged state, granting her (20/40/60) bonus AD and AP in addition to .5 additional AD and AP for every 1% of her missing health, for a maximum of (70/90/110) bonus AD and AP for 10 seconds.
