It's not just bones that throws China for a loop, it's human skulls. Notice how Soulstealer Vlad has abnormal skulls on its shoulders? China has very strange feelings toward human skulls.

none of those are as graphic as this drawing tahm is a frog. that's pg 13 noc and cho, and rek are unrealistic beings fiddle is a scarecrow, playful. even his walk is playful shaco, probably the scariest one is just a clown. no satanism really in the splash art not sure what thresh is elise is a spidergirl (i know, terrifying) renek is just a crocodile, still playful there was actually some probablems a while ago with zyra and her cleavage but heh. other than that she isnt satanic sion is dead.

none of these that you mention include the archetypal hat of cannibalistic and satanical bone with blood dripping down their chin. also none of human beings who looked like they just walked out of a canniballistic cult

Cant be done... exposed bone is a no no and is why sion has none anymore as well as why karthus old classic skin looked different in china. I would recommend giving her a caved in and dehydrated torso in order to maintain the overall direction and feel which would hide the exposed spine.

well that is what happened when they did the graphical update of Karthus: since LoL is worldwide there are many regions where exposure of bones that are clearly human is restricted by law, like china ( and probably taiwan and korea too?).

Is becoming a common thing in any online game, even DotA 2 had to do this thing ( even tought there were also copyright things that i am not going to cover now).

Yyyup, and when Blizzard said them to shance SK model because it was too similar to Leoric from Diablo 3 ( from which SK was inspired ) they took the occasion to transorm him into Wraith King, removing all the bones to facilitate differences between regions.

World of Warcraft had it worse: any skeleton was a forsaken with pink skin!

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that kind of stuff only applies to the base aspects of league such as items and base character models. I believe that was the reason that the gragas esq skin could have a cigarette while graves....well you know. Either way though I don't think it would work because riot already showed they wouldn't make her balls red. Reserved for enemy syndra balls, clarity and what not, Yada yada.

That is a different thing: one is alchol and tobacco the other is corpses and are weighted with different measures, i think. But yeah it might be the case.

Wont work with the bones(as so many have said).

But making her more of a Vampire theme could work? Blood Bender or something like that.

Drop the blood and make her a Witch Doctor could also work to keep a similar look without upsetting China.

What game is this? Even WoW wasn't allowed to show your characters death. It left a gravestone instead.

Do they have a rating system like the US does? Allowing some games to avoid this censorship.

Companies and Governments don't usually lie. They just don't tell whole the whole truth. Not really good to just assume everything they say is BS. Just as it's not a good idea to blindly follow them.
