Speaking of that Zed mask/helmet on Shen's side, why not have a passive with Shen and Zed. It'll be like Rengar Vs Kha'Zix's passive, 'The Hunt is on', except it'll be between Shen and Zed.
I'm just tired of the current shen visual, he's such a cool champ & he really deserves to look just as badass as zed.

The dark tones and the hood seem more like Zed
I don't even play Shen, and when I do, I suck with him. But even to me, this VU seems super Badass.
I mean, that mask. That Assassin's Creed feel. So good.
Shen is probably the most out of context character that I have seen in my entire life as a gamer. He is a tank class but he is a ninja. Since when does assassination, stealth, cloak and dagger combine with doing no damage, not being sneaky at all and managing to take it up the ass for the team.

I love Shen's play style, saving allies with ulti and stuff But he just...looks so... AWFUL! and his animations... HORRIBLE!

I want a gangplank like update that makes him a renegade like this update his normal skin but in an event make him change into this make him give into the dark side (forbidden shadow arts) in order to save someone from Zed also an excuse to finally give Zed fans a skin (spooky Zed XD) This is single handedly the best look for Shen ever! Please Rito give some feedback on the possibility of this being a thing!

I'm not sure if this should be his visual update or if it should be a new skin called "Grey Shen" or something while everyone else calls it Smoke to fit in with Subzero and Scorpion Shen....err...I mean Frozen and Yellow Jacket.
in the third one, how did he even draw that sword with that hand facing the way it does????? its against body mechanics!!!!!!
I mean, you try to touch your right shoulder with the palm of your right hand, especially while facing it backwards
The jagged edges of the armor look quite similar to Zed's. In fact, this depicts Shen as a little more sinister than I would think him to be. Nonetheless, it looks sweet! But he looks more like an assassin than a keeper of balance.

I don't dig the hood and the cape, not really his type. Plus every single cape in this game looks ugly. Personal opinion!
