Make Minions Great Again

So, something about League that I've noticed is that minions are pretty underdeveloped for something so vital to the outcome of a game. Their design is basic and there are very few ways to directly interact with your own minions. However, this was not always the case. A little while ago, during the Bilgewater lore event, there was a way to summon unique minions with their own mini abilities during the Black Market Brawlers event, and it was arguably one of the best gamemodes Rito ever made (after URF, obviously) I propose that Rito Games in all their wisdom bring back this gamemode in a different form during the current Zaun/Piltover lore event. Imagine being about to summon hextech/chemtech-augmented minions to fight alongside the normal ones. Maybe you could have a little chemtech artillery unit that launched AoE missiles of green goop, or a hextech fighter with mechanical arms that had double attack speed. Or maybe a big armored tank unit that could taunt other minions to attack it. The possibilities are endless! I think this would be a really cool thing to have, maybe even as a permanent rotation gamemode. Thoughts?

P.S. I don't acutally support Trump, the title is just for the memes :^)

If you don't support Trump then you're a lying mexican journalist that should be deported and blocked off by the great wall of americanhood!!!

Jokes aside, I really like this idea. It could be like the Siege mode except instead of siege weapons you can use exclusive currency to upgrade a minion of your choosing. This would be amazing and have boundless potential.

Good memes :^)

Spread the idea around, maybe if enough people shout at them Rito will actually implement this! And thanks for replying :)

Aren't there items like Zz'rot Portal that let you spawn unique minions to push lanes or buff minions into being stronger for a while?

Yes, but Zz'rot is a very passive item that doesn't really do much that's interesting. You just plop down a 'Rot in a lane and it pushes and that's pretty much it. Banner of Command is similar, but it's way less effective.
