Abilities

Passive:Patience

All allies get a 20% reduction on their death timer while enemies killed or assisted by Vesper get an additional 20% added. Max of 10 seconds. Starting 0:06 becomes 0:05/0:07. 1:00 becomes 0:50/1:10.

Q:Respite and Regret | CD 12/11.5/11/10.5/10 | Cost 40/45/50/55/60 | Range 600 | Radius 200

Vesper Curses an enemy with a shield of 50/70/90/110/130+(20% Ability Power) for 5 seconds, which if depleted explodes and deals 100/125/150/175/200+(55% Ability Power) Magic damage in a small area. When allies damage the shield they gain 60/70/80/90/100% of the damage they deal as a shield for 3 seconds.

W:Spirit Drift | CD 20/19.5/19/18/18.5 | Cost 60/70/80/90/100

Vesper splits her spirit in half and allows it to move around for 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds, the spirit moves 25% faster then Vesper and is immune to slows. Can be cast while under the effects of crowd control. Vesper receives 20/17.5/15/12.5/10% of all damage received by the spirit. If the spirit passes through an ally it cleanses them of debuffs, the spirit vanishes and for 1 second Vesper can recast to join next to them. If it passes through an enemy they are slowed by 50/55/60/65/70% for 1.5 seconds, any shield she has on them instantly breaks, and the spirit vanishes. Move the spirit by pressing E.

E:Delay | CD 15/14/13/12/11 | Cost 40/50/60/70/80 | Range 800

Vesper fires a runic character in a direction which curses the 1st enemy hit with Delay for 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds, and deals 40/75/110/145/180+(70% Ability Power) magic damage. Delay: During this time all orders are delayed by 1 second. Can be cleansed/spell shielded.

R:Retention | CD 155/135/115 | Cost 100/115/130 | Range 700 | Radius 300+125 per second(675 max)

Vesper creates a runic area on the ground that lasts 4 seconds, dealing 100/160/220+(40% Ability Power) magic damage per second in a growing area. Each second enemies are pulled 125 units toward the center. (Runes on the ground appear in a circle, a new circle appears over the next second, every second they glow and pull/damage)

Vesper is a support designed for heavy utility. She only has 1 form of hard CC with her R. Unique lag-like debuff makes for easy landed skill-shots. W provides a decent escape, or utility helping a locked down ally or keeping an enemy from running away. % damage received from W helps prevent it from becoming a frequently used ability, and more situational instead. Q acts as a solid form of baiting enemies into engaging with a "fake" shield that transfers to the attacker. Counted as you giving a shield. Q+W can offer an instant shield break, but if you miss then you grant them a shield that blocks smaller poke and risk possible damage taken. Having no healing ability helps her not be overloaded with utility, and gives other champions a step up in terms of helping allies. R acts as a huge area control ability, growing over 4 seconds. If caught in her R it WILL do decent damage, pulling you back in unless you can run out. Each pull lasts about 0.25 seconds. Her passive makes for good lane control, being able to have a typical 2-5 seconds extra of clearing waves before champions return during laning phase. Or if you're behind it offers an additional 2-5 seconds to return before losing cs. Or 2-5 seconds to feed again. CAREFUL when using W. If used in the middle of an aoe damage ability, you end up just taking 20-10% more damage, so be careful.

She should be in no way too strong, but shouldn't be too weak either with her unique utility. Morgana Just shuts her down.

Appearance? Well she would be from The Shadow Isles, looking like a dark corrupted version of the usual librarian-esque people we see in the images depicting The Blessed Isles.

Hey man, just read the whole thing and all along I was wondering if you were also a Dota2 player, because this concept reminds me a lot of how dota characters are made. Awesome concept, but I do think the W has too much going on... Anyways this champion looks incredible and I know for sure my brother (who is a support main since season 2) would rock this champion! I love the idea on the Q tho. Keep up the good work!

Hello there, A few notes for you. (Don’t take it to personally please)

  1. I don’t really look at the abilities and look “Oh this someone who works with books.” I see something like a Runic Witch, not a Librarian.

  2. Her abilities aren’t exactly soft hitters either. The damage on her Q and E deal a ton of damage.

  3. In no way should she be given more CC honestly this R is enough for her to work with, otherwise she’d be overloaded.

  4. A combo that deals 1.400+200 damage can probably one shot most squishies, this is why I don’t approve of it. Even though a Fiddle can do more with an ult, it is still a large part of his damage, he doesn’t really have combo potential without his other abilities.

  5. If you can hit her ult you can hit her other abilities, effectively making it impossible to outplay a combo like that.

  6. There have been a lot of attempts to use this kind of R, me included, but because there is no escape possible unless you flash and use another ability maybe.

  7. Also note that Vel’Koz was made as a heavy damage mid laner and Fiddle sticks as well. Comparing a High damage midlaner with a utility based support doesn’t really work.

  8. It’s a nice concept but I think maybe you should turn it more ‘Librarian’ like than Runic Witch.

it could be a great concept for a champion if she was him, i mean the gurl would be a guy or actualy a skin for TwistedFate , if TwistedFate was a dragon trainer and had skin like this but with a dragon instead these creatures i would buy it [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]
