There was a really cool thread a couple weeks back of a guy who could create custom chromas in under 30 minutes, complete with even changing the color of the abilities. I feel like at this current pace we'll maybe get 4-5 chromas every 2 months, and it's looking like Riot isn't prioritizing either skins/base skins for chromas. Let's see them chromas, pump em out bb

They are stupid expensive compared to what we could spend the money on though. Do I went an offcolor skin that I already have for Leona, or would I rather just buy another skin for her?

Marcia1 votesI'd figure it's because Riot needs to see if it's profitable to rapidly produce chroma's or not. If nobody is buying them, there's not as much of a need to release them.
There's also the idea that people have different favorite champions and skins, so it wouldn't be worth the purchase for them.
