Yeah I would say probably because she _ is_ a new champ. Zoey's animations are new and fun to work with. As a well done base model, its probably pretty inspiring to create a look for a champion that you KNOW is going to be easily readable and beautiful looking. Why do a new Aatrox skin? What's the point of a new Zilean skin when his base looks like ( subjectively speaking.) garbage? Some of these champions are visually outdated, or may be slated for a re-work that we don't know about. So again, what would the point be of doing work for a skin that's not going to do the artist justice, or will be destroyed for their next rework, since most overhauls consist of new base animations? From an artist point of view I understand it completely.
Truly all speculation though, and I feel the frustration. There's probably a lot of other champs who could still use a new skin, who's base model is fine. I'm sure there's someone in particular that you have in mind. For me personally I want a Mordekeiser overhaul. His king of spades splash is beautiful. The model, not so much. I just hope the delay means they're working on it. The rest is up to the will of the Rito. [sg-ezreal]
