[Champion] Tactus, the Machine Soldier
Part human, part machine, Tactus was once just a rank-and-file soldier of Demacia. His only skill in life was following orders and following them well, and that served his military career for decades. However, age defeats even the most stalwart of mortals, and Tactus was eventually forced to retire. Unwilling to quit, the former soldier made his way to Piltover, knowing they had used powerful crystal-based technology to augment some of their people, giving them unnatural long life and powers. None in Piltover would reveal such secrets; however, within Zaun, Tactus found an answer in Viktor. The Machine Herald told Tactus that they would deal: Viktor would perform experimental surgeries on Tactus, surgeries he'd not had the opportunity to try yet. In return, if Tactus survived, he would be freed of the weakness of age and allowed to return to Demacia. Tactus agreed, under the condition that Viktor design anti-magic weaponry for him as part of the experiments.
Against all odds, Tactus lived. Now stripped of his emotions, more metal than flesh, he has only the thing he has always lived for: service to Demacia.
New CC: Charge Tactus brings a new form of soft crowd control to the Rift in the form of Charge. Tactus is capable of putting Charges on his targets. If a target uses a skill while a Charge is on them, they Discharge, taking magic damage and increasing the cooldown of the spell they just cast by 4/6/8/10 seconds. Charge only affects one skill, but the increased cooldown bypasses all defenses that would normally protect a target from CC effects, such as Riposte or Black Shield.
Passive Soldier: Tactus chooses one ally to link with. As long as he is within range of his linked partner, his autoattacks will have the same range and classification (melee/ranged) as theirs. His default autoattack range is short melee, using a sword; he switches a spear for long-range melee, and for ranged autos he uses a crossbow. Tactus can only change linked targets before the first time he enters combat. Officer: If an enemy champion is within range of a friendly tower and Tactus autoattacks them, the turret will switch to his target. This cannot occur if the turret is already targeting an enemy champion.
Q - Backfire: Tactus Charges a target for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds. If the target Discharges, Tactus and his linked ally (if within range) gain bonus movement speed for a short period of time.
W - Focus Fire: For 3 seconds, Tactus' attack speed becomes equal to that of his linked ally's, and he gains 5/10/15/20/25% of their bonus AD. If both Tactus and his linked ally can hit the same target with three autos each before Focus Fire ends, that target is stunned for 2 seconds. Focus Fire can only stun one target.
E - Entrench: Tactus creates a shield zone for a short time. This zone reduces AoE damage by 10/15/20/25/30% for its duration. Tactus can cast Entrench even while affected by crowd control.
R - Feedback: Tactus targets an ally with a shield matrix. Each time that ally is damaged by an enemy champion, they gain a shield for 10/20/30% of the damage taken. Additionally, the first time each enemy champion damages the shielded ally, they become Charged. Tactus cannot cast Feedback on himself; however, if he casts it on his linked ally, he and his linked ally will gain health whenever an enemy Discharges.
