Riot, Sion meets all of the requirements that you have set before the community to warrant a Traditional skin. So where is it? @IronStylus said that a Caitlyn would warrant a Traditional skin for just taking away her mini skirt. So why does Sion not have a Traditional skin? You completely changed his character, his voice actor, everything. Some people like the goofy Arnold quotes. Why does Sion not get a Traditional skin?
Let's be honest. The new Sion look is not worlds apart from the old. Definitely not enough for a traditional skin. Caitlyn would loose her high hat which is pretty iconic and characteristic. Besides Caitlyn has not had anything revealed yet, so hold your horses.
You know, I don't actually object to this. I think it'd be fine to give him a purply, gangly, goofy skin for the people who for some reason enjoy it.

Considering the art of the original Sion is so old I really don't see Riot being able to come up with a good-looking traditional skin for the Rework. Besides, I frankly don't care. New Sion doesn't need it in my opinion.
I don't even play Sion, but I do agree with this sentiment, purely on the basis that this IS a rework, not a new champion, and as such a certain amount of deference should exist for the original model. Even if the new one is much better, as with the Karma rework, some people will prefer the original, and given that the changes are not exactly optional, catering to both would be reasonable.
