Resurrecting Atma's Impaler

Atma's Impaler was an unusual and interesting option for bruisers, giving AD scaling with your max health and crit chance. I tried taking a modern approach to redesigning it.

Stats:

400 Health, 40 AD, 35% Crit chance

Passive:

Critical hits ignore X% of target's armor and magic resist. Halved for ranged champions. This passive is unique and does not stack with Infinity Edge.

Recipe:

Pickaxe + Cloak of Agility + Ruby Crystal + gold

Ignoring armor is simple and effective against tanks and squishies alike. Ignoring magic resist is more unique and broadens the appeal to champions like Irelia, Shyvana, and many other bruisers with magic on-hit damage. This item synergizes with on-hit items like Trinity Force, Wit's End, and Titanic Hydra. Also Phantom Dancer or Statikk Shiv if for whatever reason you wanted those on a bruiser. The stat spread of this item would be unappealing to marksmen, but if that's not enough to prevent champions like Kayle and Kog'Maw from abusing it, then the penetration is halved for ranged champions. The crit chance here is a high 35% on the assumption that champions buying it won't typically be buying additional crit items. I've changed the armor of Atma's Impaler to health because health is always useful, while armor is more situational. I've abandoned the health-to-AD feature because Titanic Hydra basically does the same thing now.

Naturally, since this item features crit chance, some of you are wondering: Would this be OP on Yasuo? That's a trick question, because all crit items are overpowered on Yasuo. Jokes aside, Yasuo wouldn't build this as his first item because it doesn't have the attack speed he needs. The armor penetration would be less useful than Infinity Edge since he has built-in armor penetration from his ultimate, so I don't think he'd want it as his second item either unless the enemy team has many tanks/bruisers.

Other Ideas

If the item is too strong on unintended champions, then instead of a flat 35% crit chance, it could give something like "20%, plus 1% per 100 bonus health, up to 35% total."
