Fulgar - The Lightning Fist (Wing Chun Stylized Champ)
Have you ever seen the movie IP MAN? Oh man oh man the epic fight scenes. And while lee sin and xin xaio exist I dont believe they fit the bill when I say that martial arts are fast paced. ~~If anyone didnt pick it up, "fulgar" is lightning in Latin. ~~
Just look at this Fight Scene from IP MAN and you can tell theres no fighting style like it in league.
Without getting into Lore, I'd rather focus on the mechanics of Fulgar. How can we make a champs combat truly feel like this. I believe he will have a very long (but not that complex) passive, which gears his kit to be very melee based. But still have mobility and defense equal to his damage output.
Fulgar- The Lightning Fist
Passive: When Fulgar is hit with a ranged attack or spell, his inner power begins to charge ramping up movement speed and granting a spell shield. When hit by a melee, Fulgars attack speed and armor stats increase. (refreshes at 6 seconds)
(Q) The Wing - Fulgar dashes a short distance, hitting an enemy sends them airborne shortly and any hit Fulgar gets on them while airborn lowers thier armor stat by 3 points for 4 seconds.
(W) The Fist and the Dive - Active - When Active Fulgar gains a small crit chance that increases with each hit he lands on a single target. Each hit he lands while the fist is active lowers his attack speed. When the fist isnt active Fulgar gains Rage. (phages passive) This is not an instant toggle, probably a refresh rate of 5 seconds.
(E) - Solid Block - .3 second active that blocks 80% of all damage. Successfully landing a block on a melee attack sends back 10% of the damage. Fulgar and the attacker (if theyre melee based) cannot attack for .3 seconds if the block lands. Block isnt an instant cast either, takes .3 seconds to rev up as well. (cooldown: 10/9.5/8/7/6.5)
(R) - Lighting Fist. Fulgar has two options for his ult, but he cannot switch between them. Which ult he chooses is chosen at level 6 and is permanent as he does not deviate his style.
Option A (offensive) - Storm Fists. Fulgar punches a single target once stunning them, then proceeds to punch the living daylight out of them with lightning fast punches. If the target dies before Storm fist ends, Fulgar continues to punch forward with a cone AOE.
Option B (defensive) - Hammer Fists - Fulgar channels himself, raising defensive stats for 8 seconds. At any time you can activate Hammer fist, rooting an enemy for 4 seconds and lowering their armor by 15%.
I know this isn't really wing chun styled, other than his animation should be represented of wing chun. but I cant show you that. What I do know, is that he will be the fastest paced fighter champ yet, not movement speed wise, but his jungle will be epic.
