Backstory: Once a sailor south of Piltover, Drew was a quiet, air headed guy. He enjoyed the ocean air and worked for a shipping crew who sent packages across the world. One day while in port, he saw a old woman selling relics claiming they had mystical properties. Most of his crew didn't take notice of the wise woman but Drew took one look at the beautiful pearl relic she was selling and knew he must buy it. The woman named her price, and he agreed. The woman said the relic was for luck but if it wasn't taken care of, wouldn't bring luck worth having. With that, The captain called for Drew, and he returned to the ship. He kept the relic with him at all times, and made sure it never received so much as a mark on it's pristine engravings. Several months later, while Drew was at sea asleep in his cabin, a large purple light appeared on the side of the ship. The captain went to inspect the light. He turned to his crew and said that it was a volcano and that they should proceed anyway. Suddenly, a loud screeching noise came from the side of the ship the light was on. It sounded like a wounded beast. The captain turned to look and a shadowy tendril reached onto the ship and plunged him into the icy depths. The crew panicked and tried to steer the ship away, but a large tendril slammed the ship, almost overturning the ship entirely. Just then another light appeared on the seafloor, bright and blue, and the remaining crew heard another screech, this one even more pained, then just like that both lights disappeared. The ship had been badly damaged, and the crew knew it. Helpless to stop it, the boat and it's crew sank helplessly into the depths, all the while Drew slept soundly in his cabin. Later Drew heard a sound, not anguished like the thing from before, but calm and serene. He woke and found himself on shore with no memory. He looked to his left and saw frightened townsfolk. They seemed terrified of something, but not him, something to his right. When he looked he saw that a figure, made of water was forming to on his side! When he tried to stand, the figure followed him. If he walked, the shape followed suit. Drew, having forgotten everything and being tied to this mysterious shape, figured that maybe he had been given a second chance. He must have had an accident at sea, and this shape saved him. And with his usual demeanor, Drew and his ocean pal, set off on the road. Unsure what he should do but not caring in the slightest.

Role: AP Jungler Abilities Passive: Shadow Of The Tide Laplace (It's a name in progress that i pulled from a Megaman game) acts separately from Drew and has his own health bar. Drew's ult is available from the start of the match. Laplace rapidly recovers health after not taking damage for a time. If Laplace is killed, Drew cannot use his abilities and the duration of Water Skate, if active, is halved.

Q: Bubble Bullet Drew fires a bubble of water from his finger which burst in a small AOE after a set distance. Can be cast while Water Skating (Think Singed poison trail, but with a cast animation).

W: Water Skating Drew channels for a short time. If he is hit by an enemy ability while channeling, he shrugs off the damage and gains a large amount of MS for a moderate time.

E: Rainy Season After a short channel, drew creates a monsoon at a target location, slowing enemies by a moderate amount while inside the storm. Note: This ability should have a size and cooldown that makes it unreliable so as to put emphasis on his Q and W

R: Laplace Laplace can be controlled. Target an enemy to direct Laplace to target and attack that enemy. Target an area to have Laplace move there. If Targeting an enemy champ suffering from CC, Laplace will leap towards them, dealing damage in a cone in front of him with increased range. Note: Laplace himself has no cooldown, however the empowered attack on CC'd enemies has a moderate cooldown.

Inspirations: His design came largely from Shayne and Aurox from Battleborn (God i feel bad for Gearbox's brilliant art team. I hope they eventually break free from the idiots that are the rest of that sad company) Shadow Labrys from Persona Arena Ultimax. I imagine Laplace being a balance of smooth and brutal signifying his connection to the ocean. Smooth body, wicked claws, etc. I imagine him being a body of water with no feet and claws with an emotionless and curious face. My inspiration for Drew comes from JoJolion from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. NOTE: I HAVE NOT SEEN PAST DIAMOND US UNBREAKABLE, PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL. I ONLY KNOW HIS DESIGN!

Notes: I wanted a pet class who was largely reliant on his pet for being effective, however i knew having a permanent Azir soldier would be annoying so I made him targetable. I imagine him having slightly less health than your typical bruiser with more damage to compensate. Using Laplace properly is key to have an impact as well as his Q and W. Laplace can't peal and his only ability that can self peel (E) has a channel, so you can't use it if someone is chasing you. Final note: Sorry if the backstory was trash. I suck at writing. Thoughts?
