Champion Concept - Mortimer, The Lord of Death
Name: Mortimer (posh undead dragon mmmmm)
Abilities:
Passive: Draconian Majesty. Every time Mortimer does a large amount of damage (scaling with level) within 3 seconds, all nearby enemies flee in terror for one second.
Q: Splintering Bite. Mortimer bites down on an enemy, and eats them if they are killed. Autoattack reset that deals physical damage to a targeted unit, and executes if they are below 10% health. Mortimer is then healed for 10% of the target's max health.
W: Shadow of Death. After not taking damage for 5 seconds, Mortimer takes off into the air, gaining 100 movespeed and a new movement animation, but cannot use any other abilities. While Mortimer is in flight, his W changes to Dive. Dive causes Mortimer to… dive… a short distance in any direction. When he reaches his destination, he exits Soar and deals AoE physical damage around himself.
E: Tail Swipe. Mortimer spins in a circle, dealing physical damage and knocking back all units hit.
R: Corrupting Breath. Mortimer spews forth a torrent of black fire. Deals high magic damage to a single target, and lesser magic damage to all units in a cone behind them.
Lore: A dragon lord of the Blessed Isles. When the Ruined King corrupted the well at the center of the isles and unleashed the Black Mist, Mortimer was corrupted like everything on the Isles at the time. However, Mortimer lived high in the mountains, far from the origin of the Mists, and this combined with his incredible innate power allowed him to retain his sanity and free will, even as his flesh withered and his once-beautiful form decayed into a hideous nightmare. Now he soars above the Bone Mountains, still surveying his kingdom as he always did, unable in his arrogance and pride to acknowledge the horror that has occurred. Occasionally he will swoop down to devour some unfortunate ghoul, or drive back any who dare to enter his domain. But the rest of the time he flies in endless circles. Watching. Waiting.
