Very old champions skins question

How come their pricing never drops ? I mean I understand that they want to make money but when a 3 year old skin maintains its price the entire time never EVER dropping once, its kinda annoying. For instance I really want to get the battle cast cho gath skin as hes one of my favorite champions (80% win rate in ranked) but to pay 1820 RP for a skin that is very old is just ugh.

I mean its not like hes spirit guard udyr or anything so why does the price never drop ?

Riot could you please drop some prices on some old skins ?

I mean even if i were to buy 20$ rp with the bonus RP on the 12th I still cant even get battle cast chogath and eternum reksai I still wouldnt have enough =[
