Reizean, The Librarian
For those looking for knowledge, wisdom, or simply a good story there is but one place that has all you seek. The library. Now what does one find in a library you may ask? Well, the answer is obvious. You would find books of course. Some find books filled with childish whimsy of pixies and a small creature obsessed with purple, some are filled decades of war over a land under blistering sun, a few may even describe the story of a shining hero saving Runeterra from a darkin's scorn, or even dark truths meant to stay hidden from the world. Now, what else may you find at a library? A knight? A sorcerer? A priest? No no, none of that. You'll only find the librarian.
In Runeterra there happens to be a great library in a small town. This library happens to be a little special. Filled with millions of books it boasts the largest collection. But, who runs it? Well... that is what makes it special.
Now, when you enter this library, there is but two very simple rules. One, do not harm the books. Some books tend to fight back and who wants a paper cut? They tend to hurt, no? Two, when entering the library, remember that absolute silence is required. Yelling tends to disrupt the concentration of others. So make sure to stay quiet lest you beckon the librarian.
Whats so scary about some dusty ol' librarian you ask? Well, let me tell you a story from my first... and last... experience with this estranged librarian.
When I was a young boy I was a fairly rowdy young sprout. I had a friend who I went everywhere with. Oh, the havoc we'd cause! We destroyed store after store, warehouse after warehouse, looking for new toys and new adventures to be had. We grew tired of the same old stores and warehouses. The only place we hadn't gone was to this old library in the center of town. We heard stories of the library being larger than it looked. Stories about the basement stretching for a mile down and a mile to each side. We were warned to stay quiet when we went in but we payed those warnings no mind.
We decided one day to search for the basement to the library. And would you believe it? we found it. Oh did we find it, and quite easily actually. One of the people who frequents the library told us where it was right away. It was in the back next to the stairs leading up to the attic behind 5 rows of old musty book shelves filled with oddly clean books of all sizes. The library smelled, of course, like paper. Old, dusty, paper. The likes of which you'd think would break apart if you picked em up. We decided to descend into the basement. As we walked through the threshold of the door the bustle of the town outside abruptly ceased and a cold chill ran up our spines. We were excited.
The basement was massive! a mile to each side may have been cutting it short! Thousands of book shelves lined up with the only light being a single glowing orb at the end of every other line of bookshelves. We couldn't see the walls at the ends of the room it was so large. Only support beams and a longer line of small glowing orbs. The stairs after reaching the next floor down began to turn into a spiral staircase with openings at each floor. We continued to descend. It felt like each room was quieter and quieter than the last. As we descended we where thinking there is no possible way the library could become quieter after the next floor. But, it did. Again and again. Quieter and quieter it got.
After about half an hour of walking down stairs our legs started to tire. We finally came across a floor that was simply empty with a single floating blue crystal in the very center of it giving off a faint light. That half an hour of silence was broken by my friend saying, "let's take it and show everyone in the town. We'll be heroes". As we grew closer to the crystal I stopped. My friend turned around a few feet down and laughed at me calling me scared. His laugh echoed seemingly endlessly through the empty hall. The light around the blue crystal started flickering and the darkness of the room swirled around me and my friend. The shadows started constricting us as it swirled up our bodies coming to shape a hand covering our small mouths. A figure dressed in a long white and gold robe with an eerie black scarf emerged from the swirling shadows. Books floating around him quickly but quietly flipping through pages. His old pale skin reflected the blue light of the crystal. His long pointed nose propped up a pair of small thin framed glasses reflecting the body of the crystal then our faces. His long silver hair flowed down to his waist glowed with the crystals light. He put a single long and slender finger to his lips. A resounding "SSSSHHHH!!!!" escaped his wrinkled face. The echos of the laughter went silent as if the echos themselves had been stifled by this man's hushing. He gestured his hand as if brushing me away and whispered "Off you go little one. I just want to have a chat with the loud one". Without questioning him I turned and ascended the stairs. I never did see my friend again.
Play style Reizean could be played roaming MID primary or JUNGLE/SUPPORT secondary. Reizean enchants his scarf to shape itself into dark whips to basic attack. Reizean is a ranged champion with short to medium range. Reizean is an AP based Control mage that focuses on hard cc and shielding.
Passive: • Reizean's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage based on AP. This bonus damage is converted to true damage when auto attacking champions effected by hard CC. • Passive: When Reizean kills or took part in the take down of an enemy unit he steals a part of their life force and seals it in his book gaining a stack of life force. He gains more life force from cannon minions, large monsters, and epic monsters.
Q: • Reizean lashes his scarf down dealing magic damage increased by life force stacks and snaring them for a very short duration. This ability can be recast with no cost for a short duration after the initial cast.
W: • Passive: When Reizean has not been damaged by an enemy champion or monster recently he starts to generate a shield from his book of life force. The shield value is increased by AP and life force stacks. • Active: Break the shield healing himself and all surrounding allies for half of the shields current value. Casting this ability stops shield generation for a small duration.
E: • Reizean crosses his scarf and pushes outwards knocking back enemies hit by the scarfs dealing magic damage.
R: • Reizean targets a large circular area and begins to channel. Moving cancels the channel. During the channel, all enemies in the targeted area are inflicted with nearsight until the enemy leaves the circle. At the end of the channel, Reizean blinks to the area dealing aoe magic damage, slowing, and silencing all enemies still in the circle for a short duration. This ability has a long cast range. Upon landing he will let out a global "SSSSHHHHH!!".
