What do you want to see in the assassin update

Does anyone have any ideas of the target champs in this update. What champs need large scope changes which ones do we want to see little change on. Any cool item ideas?

I think some more situational damage should be added. not to all assassins but a few could really use it. By situational damage i mean like Kha'Zix's q's isolation damage. Things like that help me feel like that assassin is not unbeatable and its me making the mistakes that led Kha'Zix to be 7-0 because he caught me out 2-3 times and destroyed. The 2 biggest problem assassins to me (Rengar and Fizz) have nothing like this. There isnt really anyway to reduce their damage because a 7-0 Rengar will 1 shot a mage main like myself 9/10 times and using Hourglass just makes him go after the ADC and 1 shot them instead, while a 7-0 Fizz can just assassinate your tanks because hes Fizz and hes ahead. With Kha'Zix if you are next your team your cutting his damage down alot where as with champions like Fizz and Rengar it doesn't matter. Other things I'd like to see is decision making should matter more in assassins by situational mobility. I feel like Tristanna's Rocket jump is an amazingly designed ability for a carry. If she cant get a kill or assist after flying in shes severely out of position in a fight and by killing or assisting she earned the right to fly back out. If a Zed fucks up he can just jump back with a Shadow, Akali can stealth right away, LeBlanc and Ekko can warp away. Nonono. Failing your assassination attempt should be much more devastating. Also praise going out to Kha'Zix E where he does get it unlocked after killing or assisting as well(after evolving it). Nocturne, Shaco, and Eve are good examples of what should happen when an assassination attempt goes wrong. You die. An assassination should be a risk no matter if how far ahead you are. Assassins should also be able to punish an enemy who fucked up. The way assassins do this right now is punishing your entire team for that when it should just be you. Xerath is overextend with no wards hes dead and should be. Whats not ok is that if Xerath does that dies and plays the way he should he just doomed his team because Rengar or Fizz just got the kill. This is the main reason I say that Rengar and Fizz are the most toxic champions in the game. You could be doing everything, grouping with your team and warding, but with these 2 it doesn't matter because if they got the better of anybody on your team they can and will punish your doing everything else right just but messed up in the early game. For as much as i hate LeBlanc and Zed, atleast good warding and grouping can limit them somewhat.

Also the death of tank assassins would be great as well. Sorry for the long post just needed to clear my head of these thoughts in the hope that Riot sees them by some miracle and by another miracle keeps them in mind

Assassins need to be more directed. At the moment, most assassins can do a lot of different things, they can dash in, they can dash out, they can evade and occasionally even lock down. I think channeling each assassin into a specific niche would be good. Examples of healthier assassins are, in my opinion, Talon and Xin Zhao. Zed and Fizz are both highly mobile for engage and disengage, Zed has good poke as well as all in, and Fizz has a safe-to-use AoE ultimate. Ekko is a bit of an assassin and he has lock-down, engage and disengage, and good ranged poke as well as all-in damage. Evelynn is decent because her mobility is highly limited, she does lack a hard engage or disengage and has practically no poking capability. But that also makes her harder to use than the other assassins. I think there are more assassins, but I'm not going to waste my time at the moment.

All in all, I think most assassins need some more focus.

Well, I can already predict Akali's getting revamped from the ground up.

I also assume they'll be doing something with Stealth as a mechanic with the Assassin update. Whether that tuyrns good or bad is up to fate.

I mean, I would love to see the assassin update become the stealth update - it's been sorely needed for 4+ years now.

As far as cool items ideas, I'd like to see Riot explore the possibilities with wards, and touch up the trinket options. Season 4 vision update was great, but it was only the first step.

Here's some ward ideas which I'll summarize below:

The Snitch:

  • Invisible.
  • Gives a visible / audible ping whenever an enemy champion enters its range.
  • Doesn't grant any vision.
  • Enemy champions can hear the ping it gives off.

The Beacon:

  • Sight in a large AoE around it.
  • Grants unobstructed sight 'through' terrain.
  • Can only be placed on terrain.
  • Is visible to enemies through the Fog of War.

The Sentry:

  • True Sight.
  • Indestructible.
  • Vision is limited to a cone that rotates, which the enemies can see.
  • Is visible to enemy champions and can be disabled temporarily.

The Observer:

  • Invisible.
  • Grants continuous sight in a long, narrow line from ahead and behind.
  • Can be seen at very close ranges.
  • It's line of sight is blocked by all units, terrain, brush, and structures.

The Beholder:

  • True Sight in a large AoE around it.
  • Infinite duration.
  • Is visible to enemy champions.
  • Delayed activation upon placement, and periodically 'turns off' for a short while gaining the ability to detect enemies instead.
