Kind of a Vlad + Jhin thing going on, or even a male Vayne kinda look. I did not create the art, check the artist out yourself. Freid, The Veiled Mercenary.

Freid is a hired mercenary who usually protects his clients from bounty hunters and assassins, by doing their job for them... to them. Best way to stop a murder is with another murder yeah? He loves the adrenaline rush of it all, and knowing that there's something that others want and he gets to deny them... Why that's just marvelous. He wears a masquerade mask to conceal his identity, but also allow nice breathing space and easy removal. He quite enjoys comfort. "If the first guy died, why would you send another sorry corpse?" "If blood wasn't the only answer you'd listen to, then I'd say something else"


Abilities

Passive: Sixth Chamber Freid has a gun with 6 chambers for bullets, after attacking 6 times he reloads for 1.5 seconds. Reload speed is reduced by 0.1 second per 20% bonus attack speed to a minimum of 0.5 at 200%. Freid gains 25% less Bonus Attack Damage, but has a max attack speed cap of 3 instead of 2.5.

Q: Full Clip | CD 9/8.25/8.5/8.75/7 | Cost 40/50/60/70/80 | Range 625 | Radius 25 Freid fires his gun in a target direction, emptying every single chamber, and deals 60/90/120/150/180+(100% Attack Damage & 50% Ability Power) Physical damage divided evenly between all shots and applies on-hit effects with each shot. Freid cannot change his direction while shooting but he may move around. There is 0.3 second delay before each shot, decreased with bonus attack speed down to 0.1 at 200%.

W: Hunters Warning | CD 18/17/16/15/14 | Cost 50/65/80/95/110 Freid gains a shield for 60/80/100/120/140+(75% Attack Damage) that lasts 2.5 seconds, if the shield breaks then Freid gains crowd control immunity for 0.5 seconds and a +30% movement speed boost that decays over 2 seconds.

Passive: Hindsight Freid has a trail of vision behind him, lasting 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds. Turning corners and leaving bushes does not block this vision.

E: Toxic Smoke | CD 28/26/24/22/20 | Cost 35/40/45/55/60 | Range 500 | Radius 100-400 Freid throws a bomb that releases blinding smoke. The toxic smoke deals 10/15/20/25/30+(40% Ability Power, 20% Bonus Attack Damage) magic damage every 0.5 seconds for 4 seconds and expands over time, slowing enemies inside by 20%. Radius 100-400 over 4 seconds. Attacking champions lowers the cooldown by 0.5s.

R: Masquerade | CD 160/130/100 | Cost 100/110/120 Freid bows and summons a crowd of 3/4/5 dancing silhouettes for 8 seconds, after 8 seconds all silhouettes on the map vanish. Silhouettes act as champions and can block enemy movement, but not allies; when destroyed they leave behind a dark mist for 2 seconds that blinds enemies inside. Silhouettes have 4 hit points and take 2x damage from projectile abilities and melee attacks, x4 from single target abilities.

Passive: Join The Celebration. Assists or kills on enemy champions spawn a dancing silhouette at their location that lasts 5 seconds. While within 100 units of silhouettes or dark mist Freid gains +5/10/15 Lethality and 10/15/20(+25% Bonus Attack Damage) On-hit Physical damage.

Silhouettes are designed to work as a nice shield, either impeding enemy movement or blocking projectiles. They can't block you from ranged auto attacks, but they can save you from a Jinx rocket or Ashe arrow. Ezreal R will pass through them completely and hit you, but will only deal half their life. Draven R will pass through, and then pass back, essentially killing them all and hurting you as well... yeah Draven hurts. They can also be displaced by abilities such as Draven E. The mist left behind is 100 units, or Karthus Q size. Watch out for abilities like Fiddle E or Brand R while next to 1 silhouette.


How would he be played? Typically he would be played attack speed, but can definitely go for an attack damage focused build. Gaining only 60 AD from big items instead of the normal 80 does give him really low stat return from big damage boosting items, but his naturally fast attack speed helps make up for it. He has the lowest base AD at 40, only matched by Orianna, and gains less total base AD than any champion in the game. Banking in a 1.28 atk spd at level 18 without bonuses gives him the highest base attack speed in the game by 0.20 against Teemo's 1.08. He doesn't have abilities to increase his Attack Speed like MF's 100% on her 0.99(1.98), or Kog'Maw's passive that grants him 1.30. But he will gain huge returns on attack speed items. Downside is that tanky champs with Thornmail will become nearly invincible and shred him if he attacks. He stalls out in late game, so make sure to use the mid-game power spikes to close out your game. Using W passive you can find enemies that might be stalking you, and fight around bushes very effectively

Normal build might look like this: item 3006 item 3153 item 3124 item 3085 item 3091 item 3031 Granting your 200% atk spd for shortest reloads, 60% crit, 14.5% Armor shred, 10% crit true damage, 135 Bonus Damage(101), and 57 +8% current life on-hit.

Base AD for Cait is 61 with 0.625% ATK SPD, so 38 damage every second, Freid gets 40 with 0.9% for 36 damage every second. Not that far off if you actually compare.

I know you mentioned it but seems way too similar to Jhin thematic-wise and somewhat gameplay-wise. I feel like ammo passives shouldn't be overused so they can feel unique (I would consider graves to be an exception because his autos are so different from standard marksmen autos.) Just getting a shield for an ability is boring and would just be too powerful. I like the idea of the dancing silhouettes but the iteration you have seems like it would be a damage steroid. Some cool parts of this champion but even if you revamped it I think it would just be a Jhin knock-off with its current thematic.

Updated. Buffed Damage ratios and increased W speed by 10%. Tweaked E: now has higher cooldown decreased with each attack against a champion.
