Would you consider making a Mastery level 8?
I'm guessing the proper merging combination to unlock this would be 4 S+ tokens and the champion permanent or shard.

Nope. I'm fine with M7 because I like that Blue a lot.
Mastery level 8 would be something that isn't hard to achieve just like mastery 7. Since you can just play the system by playing the champion in the most uncommon role and do good in it. And it will give you a S+ faster

Hi, My name is 3Girls1Leesin , and I agree with Boxleitner. we should Have lvl 8 mastery to make it a bit more of challenge, and when you get in rank game, and your teammates got lvl 8 you will feel a lot safer playing the game. lvl 7 mastery asked us for 3 s or s+. then why not make lvl 8 with 3 S+ or 4 S+. That would be awesome, and thanks for your consideration

At some point the banners and ingame emote sizes would get a little too ridiculous. 7 is fine as it is. They could still let you earn mastery tokens on your 7s and let you trade them in for something, that would be interesting.
The only reason we'd need more ranks for mastery is to give it a logical level 10 and hopefully some rewards for the champ that was maxed. Like heroes of the Storm did with the mastery skins and icons.
I believe that a Mastery level 8 would prove a true mastery of a champion; Mastery level 7 is honestly something ANY PLAYER can achieve.
But If a player has to earn 4 different S+ ranks on a champ? That is definite proof of consistency.
If you're looking for a "logical level" of where to end with Honor, just look at the fact that we dont have a rank that requires S+.
