Charlie 'Deuce' Sturgess Grew up and orphan of Bilge-water. He took shots from the swashbucklers and knocks from the pirates that called the city home. Charlie had a unique talent that got him into a lot of trouble as a kid, but it was what saved his life many times as well.

Ole' Deuce could always bet his way out of any situation it's like he knew fate was on his side. From gambling his life to get out of outstanding debts, or taking a shot at any new pretty face that washed into port. He put his life on the line to save himself from worse outcomes.

Everyone in Bilge - water knew he was the muse of lady luck's grand works of art. He was the manifestation of altering your fate.

"I remember when he was hiding out from Twisted Fate," laughs, and continues "He made a wager that Twisted knew he couldn't lose, but just as always Charlie beat the odds, and stole a barrel of Oranges off Gangplank's ship without a single person noticing." - Miss Fortune.

Passive: Fortune Of The Brave - For every kill Deuce gets while he is below 25% of his maximum health, he gains a permanent attack speed boost of 3 stacking up to a max of 30. For every 10% of Critical strike Deuce has he gains 5 attack damage. For every 100 additional health he gains 2.5% Life steal.

Q: Ante Up / Exceptional Bluff - Ante Up - Deuce throws his satchel at a target spilling his previous winnings across the ground in front of them disorienting any targets hit for .5/1/1.50/2/2.5 seconds. Exceptional Bluff - (passive) Every 20/17/14/11/8 seconds, any targets affected by Ante Up, experience a debuff that slows their attack speed, and movement speed by 10% for 3 seconds. CD: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds RNG: 600 COST: 55 energy

W: All out of Plays - Deuce rolls to his target, sucker punching them with brass knuckles he keeps hidden for emergencies. Dealing 70/90/110/130/150 Physical Damage, that stuns the target for 1 second. (Note: Deuce starts out with this ability first) CD: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds RNG: 575 COST: 45 energy

E: 50/50 - Deuce Flips a coin (activating again stops in on the side of the coin you want) (Note: While the coin is being flipped Neither Deuce or enemy champions within range cannot move or be targeted. ** Also** if a side of the coin isn't selected in 2 seconds it automatically chooses.) Heads: If the coin lands on heads he throws down a smoke grenade becoming invisible for 2 seconds allowing him to escape. Tails: Deuce is granted insight to the next incoming attacks basic or ability negating 35% of their damage. CD: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds RNG: 300 COST: 30 energy

R: Wager / Winnings - Wager: after being activated Deuce channels a bar over his remaining health, ever how much he wagers of that said health is totaled up as additional physical damage that his basic attack will do. (Warning has to be able to wager at least 25% of max health) Winnings: (Passive) If Deuce kills or helps kill his target he is granted 75% of the wagered health back along with 50% additional energy regeneration for 3 seconds. CD: 70/65/60 seconds RNG: Self COST: the health wagered.

** (For Example: If he has 65% of his maximum health of 1500, he has 975 health, if he wagers only 40% of the said 975, his next basic attack will do 390 additional physical damage. But if he doesn't kill you he only does that damage and loses 40% of 975, 390 health bringing his health down to 585 with his only ability)** However if he kills said target he will only lose 25% of the 975 which would only lower his health to 731.

Appearance: Patched up black coat with a shamrock on the back, open with a green jacket under it, with a black t-shirt with holes, He wearing black pants, with black boots. aviator shades, and a 1920's paper boy hat. Of course his brass knuckles with L U C K carved in each ring.

Alternate skin, have him in a white tank top, with a bunch of Celtic and pirate like tattoos.

Has a Scottish accent, Like Mickey O'Neil from the movie Snatched.

Quotes: Dance: "Get Boogie wit' it" Joke: "I bet you i can drink 30 shots if you pay for em, what do say lad?" Selection: "Luck have it, the odds are in my favor" Taunt: "So feeling lucky, or are ya gonna tuck tail and run" random quote when playing with Gang plank: "Well GP, care to spot me an orange" random quote when playing with Miss Fortune: "Looking mighty fine, Fortune favors me nicely" random quote when playing with Graves: "So did they let you keep your smokes in prison Graves?"

Tips: Health and Attack Damage are his greatest priority, followed by attack speed and Critical strike.

Deuce is a willy top lane fighter / assassin who weighs his options before he commits to a bet.

He is viable in jungle, will have a rough start due to having to take his All Out of Plays first. Once he get's 50/50 and some health though he will be fine.

All Out of Plays is taking first because he has to study and know his opponent before he can get the odds on his side.

Combo Wager With a follow up All Out of Plays to do major damage and use Ante Up accompanied with 50/50 to change directions after the damage is done or to save your skin if Wager isn't the killing blow.

Wager is tactical move be smart when you use it, watch your health. Be weary of using it below 60% of your max health. But remember with great risk comes great rewards. Although if you do drop below 25% health and get the kill you get that permanent attack speed buff.

I see someone has downvote you without saying a word as to why. As someone who myself tends to put a fair bit of effort into my own concepts, I know how annoying this can be. I will upvote you simply to counteract that.

The thought process behind this concept intrigues me, and he fits right into the lore to boot. Personally, I think this is a damn decent job.

(Edit: "Damage"? I meant effort. Where did I get damage from? Must be all the champion concepts I wrote today...)

Your Ult mechanic is fascinating. Note sure it's particulayly useful given how risky it can be, but I love thenconcept. Note how detrimental lag can be to it though: very easy to shred your own health.

I'm also afraid that Q is FAR to useful. A 2.5 second debuff on a 6 second cooldown is definitely too strong for any form of CC aside from a minor slow.

Wow thanks everybody. Yeah i was looking up the vegas odds of my team making it to the super bowl and bam concept hit me. His lore and his ult are all about the odds, With Deuce you gotta beat the odds or have the odds in your favor. That why i made his ult the way i did. I wanted a balance to his ult with an amazing damage out put.

And musounotakamaru Thank you for the up vote very much appreciated.

Also i'll edit the debuff on his Q & change the cost of his ult, shouldn't have to cost energy and health.

side note glad i made a concept that didn't get ripped apart by everyone for once. lol

Pretty cool concept! His Q seems a bit overloaded, being able to potentially apply two debuffs at once, unless I'm misunderstanding it. Also, is the disorientation a stun? His ult is a brilliant concept, having to wager your own health. However, I'm not sure of its effectiveness. The flat damage could be pretty impressive if you got your health stacked enough, but without a way to gain health outside of items, it's awfully risky.

On his E, the tails buff seems a bit underpowered, since it can be proc'd by basic attacks as well. I would imagine minion damage wouldn't proc it, although since you're pushing him as a jungler, I'd imagine large and epic monsters would proc the effect as well. Perhaps give it a duration instead of making it a one-shot shield. Also, am I understanding correctly that upon activation, both you and the target are basically Zhonya'd until a side is chosen?
