Is Mordekaiser getting the Eve treatment from Skins team?

League of Legends: Mordekaiser Skins' Review

Recently I decided to make Mordekaiser my main (no seriously, stop laughing) as I really do love this ugly, outdated, and ridiculous champ. I don't care what anyone says, nothing makes me enjoy League more than swag walking down lane with my giant mace and my pizza feet.

Looking at Morde's available skins, a couple things become clear - he doesn't really have any that are all that good, and he hasn't had one in a while. Now wait - I'm not posting this just to bitch about why Morde's not getting skins. I'm just curious if this is something that just happens to be true or is the skins team avoiding making new skins for him until after his VU? A while back they said they wouldn't be making Eve new skins until her model is updated (which they ended up going back on with Safecracker Eve but w/e) and I'm wondering if Morde is the same case. It would honestly make sense - his model in game looks pretty freaking janky and most of his skins suffer largely because there is only so much you can do with such an outdated looking champ.

If you are avoiding him till a VU, does that discount him for Chromas as well? I don't know if i'm really all that interested in 590 RP recolors, but at the same time two of his skins are basically just recolors and they both cost 520 RP a pop. It seems like if half his skins are just expensive recolors and he's not getting a new skin for while then a high quality Chroma pack might be a nice compromise. Thoughts?

ps. When you do get to the VU do me a favor - don't change the pizza feet. They are glorious and perfect.

Visually, Morde could not be further from his kit. The guy has a giant mace that tickles opponents unless it's empowered with his Q, and he's quite squishy for wearing more armor than Garen . He looks badass, no question about it, but his look just doesn't match what he does in a fight. Unless he's fed, of course.

Riot actually tried to make Morde into a more tanky AP character a bit ago, to better match his look. Turns out, having a melee character with zero CC and mobility makes them a terrible tank/bruiser.
