**Build Path: item 30821000 + item 1031800 +item 1031 800 = 2600 + 900 to finish the item = 3500 Gold total **

**Stats: 150 Armor **

Unique Passive: 10% Movement Speed Unique Passive (Extreme Mail): Increases your total armor by 30%.

Note: This item is for melees only (locked for ranged characters).

More information: This should be the counter for all of the lethality and penetrations in game for tank users. It'll give them a better spot to survive longer in teamfights, especially if the enemy team is only full ad comp.

Malphite His W and E are salivating.

Can also be busted on Amumu Rammus

But seems like a fun idea.

It is very expensive so I imagine this would pretty much be a top only item.

Support tanks will never afford, jungle will almost never afford and top would have to get it 2nd item... but having a second item be so expensive is realistically difficult.

Interesting direction, just has some issues.

It is definitely going to be superior on the armor stacking champions like Malphite or Rammus, but there are also major points about it why it's a fair item for top laners for late game when they are against heavy Ad comp.

Cons:

  1. It's pretty expensive
  2. It has no other stats but only flat armor
  3. It has no interesting unique passive

Pros:

  1. It is a great item for armor stackers in late game
  2. It prevents the tank users to be melted so fast by the lethality and penetrations

I hope this is helpful

Yeah but the issue is it's too Niche, especially for the price. Even if you buy this item the enemy can easily buy a last whisperer or w.e provides 40% armor pen. Would pretty much be nothing but a 'item tax' in the end where you kinda screw yourself as well as the enemy. This isn't awful its just that itll only be useful on a handful of champions and they may still have issues with durability due to either low health or low lane pressure while having abuse cases like Malphite who gets a hug steroid already in W, then this item, then if he is lucky enough to get the 3 new mountain dragons.

He would have nearly 900 armor just off this one buy (or 500 against enemies with LW). Which would be a crazy ratio for his E.

Assuming he'll be reworked either way, since him and Rammus are on list for a VGU but on tier 2 after some other champions. I understand this can be a pricey and difficult item to build because it shows no benefit in lane but It is definitely a late game item for the armor stacking builds against heavy ad team. For example, you are playing a tank user, rushing Iceborn gauntlet, sunfire, thornmail, tabi, deadman plate, then you realize you might need something to end this build, something to empower your thornmail and your defense in late game, by adding this as a 6th item it'll provide more safety for the tank users and allowing them to play their role if they are against heavy ad comp.

85% of games end at 3 items and level 14.

Youd have this item, iceborn, and w.e else.

Yeah it can be good against most full AD team although armor pen can be huge (40% cut with a cheap item) or would force a GP meta where he would ignore 60+% of your armor with a keg.

Armor is ok as it is and this would give huge Armor buffs in theory but it's super expensive.

MR items on the other hand are trash other than spirit visage.

Atleast armor has some decent options..

I don't mind cutting the price for it, but the idea would benefit pretty well if we add the other item I had on concept. Honed mace would scale from this item, adding to ninja tabi and iceborn gauntlet.

As for the Magic resist, I made an Idea which is the MR version of Iceborn, you can check it in the boards called Emerald gauntlet. However, as for the other magic resist we have in game now, I actually don't have a problem with their passives at all, the main problem is that they provide a small amount of hp for tanks that could be easily countered with 1 ability.

As for the armor items, they only benefit certain tanks against assassins. No way against marksmen or some fighters who are based on attack speed and on hit because tanks have no way to survive that. They will be melted to death no matter what they build. More armor items will always be great.

Well this item isn't technically gold efficient until you put on the passive. I like the idea of a scaling item, but I think the tuning is probably off.
