RIOT Tutorial/Ranked Update

Riot needs to show players how to play since this game has a HUGE learning curve. Micro/Macro gameplay tutorials. Micro: I did not learn to attack move until I watched a YouTube video, and practiced in practice tool. Screen lock and auto attack should NEVER be turned on. Macro: if you ace the other team do not run dragon. Go get a couple towers and setup for dragon/baron and maybe bait. Or of course one tower and rush baron. There is so much to learn in this game. Without watching YouTube videos, watching pros on Twitch, or coaching players stay in Bronze or Silver because they just do not know how to play correctly to climb. item 3460 RIOT could have tutorials that have to be completed in order to play ranked. Instead of just level 30 and what? 15 champs? That takes about one month. This is not enough to learn how to play without tutorials, and I also think Bronze 1 MMR is where they should start NOT high silver. I am soon to be gold. My friends how are in gold still have players that are level 30-35 in their games that are not smurfs. This auto-loses the game about 75% of the time just because of the poor player not knowing what to do, or even not knowing the abilities of his opponent. item 3633 I would like some opinions and feedback from players and RIOTeers. What do you guys think?

Although I agree with you on the need for "updated" and "better" tutorials, I think that people who want to play ranked should get to play ranked.

It would also be cool to add a "challenge mode" with some scenarios picked by pro players where you have to make a game changing decision. This would be a good way to introduce macro concepts.

Ranked play already requires 20 champs (potential 10 bans, 10 players). Level 30 is still a bit of a grind. What new players NEED is an incentive to play SR games as they level to 30. I see a lot of new people grinding levels on TT.

They do need to stop putting new players in High Silver. The problem that arises though is smurfs would be put in High Brz and then just go and destroy people making ranked feel less fun. There is already a lot of smurfs, it would just add to the fire.

I think stronger ranked reqs need to be met which might also strangle some of the smurfs out, If someone wants to play ranked they should have to learn the game, it's something a tut isn't gonna teach you, experience will so I feel like people should need to have a certain amount of games played of normal SR to open ranked up. If Smurfs had to play a stupid amount of Normals they prolly wouldn't make as many smurfs.
