Stopwatch is a 600 gold item. That is too much free gold. How does everyone feel about a new 2 time consumable that is a QSS, but does not build into anything. You would have 2 cleanses then the item could be sold for about 50 gold (like the refillable). Thoughts? This consumable of course would not have the magic resist stats btw

Stopwatch is fine since they nerfed the rune to ten minutes. I think it is actually very balanced now.

I rarely see anyone spend the 600 gold for a stopwatch though. I mean, you are (typically) denying them about 300 gold by using it, and even then there's a good chance you still die. This is of course not including CS, as that can very from situation to situation.

It is much more worthwhile to spend gold on something that actually helps you survive and get kills.

But thats 1 less rune. 600g one use item for entire rune. Its fair.

No it isnt lol. You are getting it in the secondary tree AND it is lowering the cD of future zhonyas and GA.

I don't know what the efficiency rate if for what the rune gives you but off the top of my head it seems like it provides too much value. Maybe a split between stopwatch item alone and the option for a flat XX% CDR for Stopwatch items. I also wouldn't be opposed to restructuring the build paths for items the include stopwatch by removing stopwatch's ability to be purchased in-game (and leaving current costs as such) and instead only be available at 10 minutes from picking this rune. It would increase the value of the rune in specific match ups (think vs. Zed or other assassins), but most cases like that would be ones that already relied on selecting that rune or building a Zhonya's/GA. A change like this would just address tanks, most supports, and most junglers picking it and being able to perform dives less effectively early than with the item (and reducing the incentive to buy/select rune because it wouldn't build into anything anymore).
