Quan Chi is a melee mage, with consistent CC and damage. Using necromancy, portals, and other dark sorcery, Quan Chi can destroy his enemies, and secure a victory for his team.

Attributes: Mage

Lore (Crossover) Powerful sorcery is difficult to come by. This has been proven in case of Quan Chi, a powerful demon sorcerer. Master of black magic, Quan Chi served as the advisory, commander, and friend of Doravak, before his fall to the Gods. Commanding the forces of the Dark Lord required skill - which he had. But Quan Chi was different from others. His magic was notably much deadlier and influential than others. Other mages paled before Quan Chi's abilities, especially during the war. Quan Chi demonstrated his ability, by reanimating the body of a powerful swordsman. However, Quan Chi overestimated himself, and his first creation was quickly bested. With no time to animate a second one, he was assaulted by shaolin warriors, who had at first had him beat. Doravak appeared, throwing the warriors back with a blast of dark energy. Doravak awaited patiently, for Quan Chi to try again. This time, he succeeded in animating a warlord. The warlord's body decimated his already weakened enemies, which left Quan Chi wondering if it was his own power. After Quan Chi had marked his first victims, Doravak glared at Quan Chi. His words reached Quan Chi's ears clearly. "Do not fail again." Quan Chi spent years mastering his spellcasting, slinging magics to and fro. Success after success led to him reaching the pinnacle of his mastery. He had finally become a master of the dark arts. However, news had spread of Doravak slowly being pushed backwards. He rushed to the scene to find a beaten Doravak. Quan Chi raised his head to the challenge, but unfortunately for him, the gods had disappeared far away from the scene, before he could begin. Quan Chi never found Doravak, and still knows not where he is. But with his determination and skill, Quan Chi has made it his goal to lead the dark forces into the mortal realm.

Abilities

.:[Innate - Warlock]:. Quan Chi begins and ends the game with a demonic Oni. The Oni has pros and cons

Quan Chi can channel for 5 seconds on a slain enemy champion. If the channel is complete, the Oni gains 8% of all of their stats, and Quan Chi gains 4%

The Oni cannot attack minions, and does not gain stats per level.

The Oni’s first basic attack on an enemy champion will lunge from 300 range, and pin the target down rooting them for 1 second.

The Oni cannot be “killed”, so it does not have defensive stats. However, attacking the Oni 4 times will disable it for 5 seconds. It cannot be disabled again for 5 seconds.

The Oni can be controlled with ctrl + right click

Oni AD: 10 Atkspd: 0.625 Movespeed: 320

UNIQUE Passive - Oni’s basic attacks deal 20 (100% of it’s AD) (100% of it’s AP) physical damage and steal 2% of the target's maximum mana, giving it to Quan Chi

.:[Q - Enchanted Skull]:. Quan Chi throws a skull in a line, that deals 80/100/120/140/160 (40% AP) magic damage to the first enemy unit it hits. If it is a champion, the spine will wrap around them, entangling them for 0.75-2 seconds, based on how far the skull traveled.

CD: 12/11/10/9/8 Mana Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 Spell Variation: Linear Skillshot Range: 600

.:[W - Portal Tricks]:. Quan Chi opens two dark portals, one in front of him and one in a chosen location. The portal has several uses.

Anyone can move through the portals, and moving into either side of the portal will teleport him through. Using a basic attack on an enemy champion that is in between Quan Chi and the portal will push them inside, teleporting them. Enchanted Skull and other allied single target skillshots can travel through the portal, and the remaining distance will be fired from there. The portal appears cylindrical to enemies, and they cannot tell the direction.

CD: 22/10/18/16/14 Mana Cost: 100 + 10% of current mana Spell Variation: Click and Drag (Click to select area, and drag to choose direction of exiting spells.) Range: 600

.:[E - Trance]:. Quan Chi places a dark spell on an enemy champion, dealing 40/60/80/100/120 (30% AP) (10% maximum mana) magic damage, and forcing them to walk harmlessly towards Quan Chi for 1.5 (0.1% of maximum mana) seconds. All of the Oni's damage to this target is amplified by 12% for 5 seconds.

CD: 12 Mana Cost: 80 + 10% of current mana Spell Variation: Target Range: 550

.:[R - Psyburst]:. Quan Chi creates an eruption from an area, dealing 80/120/160 (40% AP) magic damage to all enemy units caught. Using Psyburst on an enemy champion that was damaged by one of his spells in the last 2 seconds will be knocked up for 1 second, and Quan Chi has 2 seconds to use a second Psyburst, dealing the same damage.

Tips

Playing As Quan Chi

Quan Chi players must manage his own health as well as the Oni to allow him to deal as much damage as possible.

Use the Oni to zone enemies in laning, or use it to tank jungle monsters.

Chain Spells properly to Allow Quan Chi to CC his opponent for a very long time.

Portal Tricks is a manipulative spell. Use it to catch an enemy by surprise.

Playing Against Quan Chi

Remember that the Oni is weak early. Regardless, disable it by attacking it 4 times.

Quan Chi has a very large array of hard CC, but cannot follow up on it himself. Do not be discouraged to fight Quan Chi through his hard CC, especially if the Oni is disabled.

You are able to use the portal, but avoid standing near the portal entrance if you don’t intend on going in.

The bald head and body markings and magic reminds me of Ryze. Could they be related somehow?

Maruilla: "QUAN CHI!?" "How did you get here, Sorcerer!?" "The Elder Gods revived you, why is it that you showed free will now!?" Nura: "Oh, how cute." "Look out, wimp!"
