I'm not sure I see the correlation.
Fiddlesticks is an instance of a Legendary skin permanently discounted to 975 RP, which we stated when we launched the skin.
As a matter of fact, Primetime Draven is also a Legendary skin, permanently discounted to 975 RP because we wanted to thank players for helping e-sports grow.
As stated in another conversation, Sweetheart Annie would be 750 RP, and because of that, wouldn't be receiving new particles.
Are we complaining about a skin not being expensive enough? Is that what we do now?

Surprise Party Fiddlesticks is what passed for Legendary skin quality at that time (though it would likely be a 1350 or even 975 if it was made now). It was priced at a permanent ~53% discount in honor of the 2-year anniversary of League of Legends.
The recent Sweetheart Annie skin, and the Marauder and Inquisitor skin lines, are an effort to offer content at varying price points in order to appeal to a wider portion of the playerbase. Not all of us can just dish out $25 for DJ Sona on a whim.

Umm since when does Fiddlesticks have a legendary worthy skin?
oh no riot gives us a legendary skin and prices it at a permanent 975 to celebrate their own birthday, and we need to complain about 750 skins. Like they've stated again and again, 750 skins are just simple skins that change the outfit of a character, any partical changes will be simply for QoL for the skin. Sivir throwing her base boomerang would look stupid, that and her weapon counts as part of her skin too sooo yeah. As cool as annie with pink flames would be, regular fire works just as well for the burning passion of her sweetheart love, however Natuilus shield would just look plain silly in his Inquisitor/Warden skin.
Please stop complaining when you obviously don't know what's going on you just compared an 1820(disc.975) Legendary skin to a simple 750. The amount of work that went into that skin and the low price is incredible. Not every skin can have new particles, then you'd just complain the skins are too expensive at 1350 each.
