Hoo boy! This concept again!!! For those of you who havent been stalking me, vera's concept was originally made a LONG time ago(for me anyway) This is what she used to look like >_< https://www.dropbox.com/s/efw2y17k10ofa7s/Vera.png?dl=0 Her skills have also been updated!

Passive: Cavern Cutter- After turning on her sword, Vera may freely walk through walls with the help of her sword, however, mining is tedious, which slows her movement speed to a crawl(110 move speed) These tunnels stay open permanantly, but the uneven rubble makes it difficult for the inexperienced, slowing everyone except vera by 50% and reducing sight to only the tunnel entrance, exit, and interior.

Q: Honed power Toggle off-Vera's sword is turned off, meaning she doesn't need to stabilize it, this allows her to run, and attack, much faster +50 movement speed, +25% BASE attack speed Toggle on- After 1 second, Vera revvs her sword's engine, causing it to roar to life, while the sword is running, her autoattacks deal 50% of her attack damage every .25 seconds while the opponent is still in range, though she loses the bonus move speed and attack speed.

W-Ferrous Engine:Vera turns off her sword if it is on, and grabs the engine's core, and lobs it above enemies, after two seconds, vera may retract the core with her magnetized gauntlet, pulling the last enemy in it's path directly to her and dealing 25/80/135/190/245 physical damage to the target

E-Diamond in the rough Passive: Vera gains small amounts of gold while tunneling, and can return to the shop to reform it into currency. Active: Vera closes off a tunnel with a seismically unstable frequency thanks to her gauntlet, but will not if any living thing is in the area. Enemies and allies may attack collapsed tunnels in order to re-open them for a short time before they become unstable again.

Ultimate-Stone's Bane: Vera plunges her sword into the ground and ups the energy over 3 seconds. After this channel is complete, she roots herself for up to 10 seconds, and vera's next autoattack will deal 300/600/900 damage in a cone 2000 range cone behind any large or legendary monster, or champion. Attacking vera while she is in this state will reduce the damage of the attack dramatically (-50 damage for every hit she takes)

Interesting ideas but I'm having trouble imagining how her R works exactly. She charges her sword and roots herself. Next autoattack has 2000 range instead of melee range and can only target large monsters and champions. It causes a cone of damage behind the large monster/champion.

I'm picturing some kind of earthquake effect, sending a blast of sword energy through the ground to erupt under an enemy and anyone unlucky enough to be standing behind them.

For the E, I wonder if it might be worth changing the active to permanently close the tunnel. This can give her a bit more control over her own abilities and prevent the map from becoming a giant maze of 2-way bard tunnels (unless that's what you were going for!). Did you have a rough idea of how long/how often the tunnels can be reopened?

You seem to have some solid ideas on powers, how about the overall class? Is Vera tanky, a fighter, an assassin that bursts out of random tunnels to kill someone and disappear back into a wall? Her abilities scale with AP, AD, etc. I think for concept work having exact numbers is pointless, but it might be useful to have a rough idea of what her cooldowns and mana costs and stuff might be.

The passive certainly adds a new twist, I fear you might be waiting a while to see anything like it though. As luck would have it someone raised the idea of destructible terrain recently. From memory, Meddlers answer was along the lines of "its a cool idea we're aware of, it doesn't seem super complicated. Having said that it's a very low priority at the moment and we haven't done anything yet so who really knows."

I can't help but imagine a relentless killing machine that turns on her sword and walks towards you until you die, so you better get outta the way bitch :3

On a final note, I see a lot of people get asked to try and spell out themes around their concepts, "what are its strengths and weakness, is it supposed to be good in lane, good in teamfights, will it have any good or bad lane matchups", things like that.

First of all, if she has ANY AD scaling her ult needs to be toned down lest we get a less mobile Riven.

Permanent tunnels are a bad idea, just because that's basically a Bard E that lasts forever. Sure it takes a second to make them, but add item 3009 and that gets a lot easier.

Her Q toggle shouldn't do 50% of her AD every .25 seconds. That's ridiculous. Maybe once after she switches it on, but not as a constant effect after AAs.

She has a Blitzcrank pull. >.>
