Since I can't support Riot financially, but want alternative skins, outrageous IP price for skins.

How about as a friendly helping hand to those of us who can't spend money on LoL, offer up skins for various levels of IP pricing?

If 975 RP = 6300 IP that would mean the average skin is the cost of a brand new champion. Additionally, there is logical sense in something like this being good for business as it will drive up your overall player count and encourage more players to keep playing to unlock more content they don't need, but want to have.

Then they'd make no money. The only reason we buy rp is to buy skins. If they became available via ip, then people would start grinding ip instead of spend money. Some skins only cost 250 - 450 rp. That would be the cost of a cheap champion.

Never going to happen. They would lose far too much POTENTIAL revenue. Might as well flush big bags of money down the toilet. Bots are starting to become very prevalent, IP farming is an industry. For some reason, at least in public, Riots attitude is that LoL has ZERO bots, but it has tens of thousands bots playing right now. Low level play, as in when you first start and are leveling your summoner account is filled with IP farming bots that ruin the game for anyone who gets to play with them, many people report bots in almost every single game they play. Im not trying to piss on your parade, but reality is reality, and the reality of the siutuation is this will never happen, sorry.

PS: people have asked before many times.

Yeah, definitely never happening.

Honestly I used to think everything should have an IP option, regardless of how high the price would be. But after some thought, it's a tad insulting to ask them to offer a 'free' alternative to obtaining something that takes teams of people to work on. Even if it only took one person.

Think about it this way. Would you approach someone like, say, a graphic designer or a musician. Then ask them to provide their services for free 'because it's free advertising' and could 'potentially get you more customers in the long run'? I mean you could do that, but they'd laugh off the anger at the thought and kindly tell you to fxck yourself.

There is one thing I think should definitely always have an IP option, or at least a way to earn it through achieving specific game play requirements (which they do). And that's stuff like summoner icons simply because they contribute so little to the game beyond the lobby, if anything at all.

I honestly believe this is a bad idea to use IP to get skins but I thing there should be a thing that can transfer a large amount of IP with a little cost to RP that can be used as an alternative that will ensure Riot will still get money

I really like league of legends but it sounds a bit unfair for people who can't purchase skins like me. We all would love to support riot but if the only way to support riot is financially that just makes them a bit greedy. I mean their should be other ways of supporting league of legends than just financially and there are only three champs who's skins can be bought without spending ur money like that which i think is less. If riot expects that their fans even those who can't support them pay money to buy skins then thats just sad.
