A fix for Yasuo?

Yasuo was supposed to be a melee laner That is strong against ranged champions and meh-Average against melee, and yet he dominates both, so how about as a fix, rework that shield part of his passive and replace it with “takes 15/30/45% reduced damage from ranged auto attacks and projectile” and then fix his windwall so it wouldn’t block things that aren’t projectile like Ornn and Nami Ults and Viktor E (cause if your gonna give him a BS mechanic at least make sure it’s not more BS than it was intended to be god dammit)

This way he’d still work as intended to and won’t be a pain in the arse to melee champions that he was never intended to be a problem for... im a Mage main and I’d rather suffer against a champion working as intended who’d force me to learn champions out of my comfort zone than against a broken piece of trash that gives me the middle finger regardless of what I play...

“Projectile” is a game concept. It’s not a literal term for actual projectiles in real life like bullets or rocks.

Anything that goes from point A to B with a travel time and a particle is a projectile. Things that apply damage instantaneously across their area count as lasers.

yasuo has been allowed to exist because Riot has a fundamentally flawed perspective on player experience. They would rather reward individual players at the expense of every other players experience. They have said in the past that its better to have someone have a great experience on the champion they play, even if it means the other 5 players on the enemy team have a terrible experience. It's honestly one of the most fucking r%%%%%ed game philosophies I have ever heard. It's why champions like Zoe and Yasuo continue to exist and be fucking cancer in this game. It's why champions like Lucian can dumpster botlane for years and not receive any changes. They would rather have 1 yasuo player have a great experience, even if they other 5 enemies in the game have to have a terrible experience

He just blocks every Nami ability and it's painful..

Stupid nerfs, his damage, especially autoattacks and Q cd, is what needs nerfing.

The fix would be to remove him. There's too many champions for balance but Rito keeps adding more spinning plates

OR just remove his shield passive, as there is zero reason he should have 2 strong passives. And make wind wall either have reduced duration, or it only blocks X amount of projectiles scaling with skill lvl, so 1 at lvl 1 and 3 at lvl 5 ish.

hmm... idk; as someone already annoyed with Yasuo, and an olaf main, i have nothing to say but to nerf him dude, like cmon!!!! passive shield+ no mana*[zombie-brand-mindblown]* Olaf

you make no sense, your suggestions too, his W was intended to block all these things, just learn to move around, is not like it stay sticked on him.

A basic ability being able to block long cool down ultimates is perfectly balanced game design! dont you know?

Seijurou Akashi2/13/2019, 7:51:01 AM1 votes

Or Riot could just revert the compensation buffs after the rework of the critical items?...

Ranged Attacks Yas does not stop: Kayle, she just summons Light to hit you at your position, no projectile/Travel time. Azir basic attacks: He pokes you with his spear and a bit of light shooting out of it. Vel'Koz, he slaps you with his tentacle. Thresh swings his weapon to hit you. I believe those are the only ranged basics he cant stop. Kinda stupid, right? Out of over 140 characters 4 ranged ones are able to hit him through a windwall

I was wondering about that like really he is op af

Rathar Dashing2/10/2019, 2:01:41 AM1 votes

Wow that seems busted as fuck. Yasuo just lost his single target 12% damage reduction, and he's more OP now that he has been in months, and now you want to give him 45% damage reduction that applies to all ranged enemies.

Handy Sandy 2/10/2019, 5:23:48 PM1 votes

takes 15/30/45% reduced damage from ranged auto attacks and projectile

this is way stronger than his shield. if he builds item 3047 well now he's blocking over half of your autoattacks if you're playing an ADC. If you're a mage, 45% is enough to block hundreds of damage from your combo which you can't even play around because unlike his shield you can't wait for it to go down after attacking him. his shield isnt even what makes him strong, it's the amount of mobility and overall damage he has.
