Esther, The Turncoat

Once a Demacian, now a traitor and a Noxus spy.

Passive: Friendly Little Lies Esther is affected by all friendly effects from enemy champions. Broken Promise: Esther cannot be affected if she has damaged the champion within 10 seconds.

Revolt: Esther confuses a targeted friendly minion over 0.5 seconds to turn and attack its friends, allowing all friendly champions to kill the minion. Turning a minion puts this passive on cooldown: Caster Minion 50-20 second cooldown; Melee Minion 65-30 second cooldown. Cooldown is based off of level. Cannons and Siege cannot be targeted.

Q: Truesight Dagger | CD 12/11.5/11/10.5/10 | Cost 50 | Range 700 Esther throws a dagger in a direction, stopping at the first enemy or wall hit, dealing 60/100/140/180/220 (+60% Bonus Attack Damage) Physical Damage and staying lodged inside for 4 seconds, revealing them for the duration. If Esther attacks the target with a basic attack then she pulls the dagger out, causing her attack to critically strike for 160/170/180/190/200% (+25% Critical Stike Chance) damage, and refunds 50% of the cooldown and cost. Walking next to it while inside a wall will also refund 50% of the cost and cooldown.

W: Shadow Dive | CD 16/15/14/13/12 | Cost 35 | Range 300 Passive - Shadow: Esther becomes stealthed while out of combat and next to walls for at least 1.5 seconds, moving 5/10/15/20/25% faster. Moving away from walls will break her stealth.

Active - Dive: Esther dives a short distance in a target direction over 0.25 seconds, briefly becoming untargetable and then gaining 20/30/40/50/60% increased attack speed for 4 seconds, and instantly activating Shadow if she dives into a wall. If Shadow is already active then her dive is also stealthed and 75% of the cooldown is refunded.

E: Fatal Perfume | CD 20 | Cost 70/75/80/85/90 | Range 200 | Radius 100 Esther lays an invisible perfume trap that arms after 1 second, once triggered the trap lets out a cloud of perfume that charms enemies hit for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds, and lowers their Armor by 20/25/30/35/40% for the duration. Perfume traps last 120 seconds, Esther may have up to 4/5/6/7/8 traps active, enemies hit by multiple perfume traps within 4 seconds are only charmed for 25% of the duration.

R: Spinning Blades | CD 120/105/90 | Cost 150 | Radius 125 Esther spins a blade at her position that lasts 6 seconds. Esther may recast after 0.5 seconds but within 2 seconds, up to 2 times, for 3 total blades. Each blade deals 40/60/80 (+25% Attack Damage) every 0.5 seconds, damage does not stack. While inside a spinning blade Esther gains 400 bonus attack range.

While inside a spinning blade Esther can always cast Truesight Dagger to fire off the spinning blade instead; dealing 50/75/100 (+40/50/60% Bonus Attack Damage) Physical Damage to the first enemy hit and lodging the blade inside for 4 seconds. Esther deals true damage on the critical strike when pulling lodged blades out of enemies. Esther cannot retrieve lodged daggers or blades with ranged attacks. If Esther retrieves a lodged blade from a wall then she refunds 15% of the cooldown and cost, up to 45%.

She follows her theme decently but not too much, originally I wanted to do something that involved champions attacking their allies or something, but I resorted to adding more damage and cunning into her kit instead, as making her R not deal direct damage didn't let her deal close to enough damage. Remember her damage numbers only reflect on 2 abilities, so they will be decently high.

Passive Revolt is good early game for getting gold advantage or controlling the wave but mostly is just used for wave control near end-game. A good strategy is to convert your melee minion on the first wave just between towers and halt your waves approach, this will make the enemy wave crash into tower, then just CS under tower and get an easy advantage(if you're top). Alternatively wait for the minions to meet up and then convert your melee minion(it'll be 4 melee against 2) to make it push hard to you and hopefully kill all your minions before enemy bot-lane shows up(if you're sup). These will require you to ditch the jungler, but should make him not worry about your lane for awhile, so the trade-off is okay.

Her passive will let enemies heal and shield her with AOE effects, even simple things like an enemy Redemption can heal her. This is especially effective when there is an enemy Soraka or Janna, though the Janna push will still apply on her R. Nami heal will also affect you instead of the damage effect. Only working if you haven't hurt them within 10 seconds though.

Q is basic farming tool, and her main poke tool as well. If you miss it however then you'll be open for bad trades.

Her W passive is kind of like Taliyah + Evelynn, which is probably how Eve should have been to begin with. Invisibility and Charm seem a lot like Evelynn, yes that is true, but the functionality is far different.

E is a nifty little trap that can make decent plays, but will also give enemies a clue as to your location, so be careful.

R can be used as a fast pushing tool, followed by throwing the blades into a nearby wall and collecting them, or a great zoning/damage tool against champions during a teamfight.

Esther struggles against high mobility champions like LeBlanc/Zed/Ezreal/Akali/Ahri and auto blocking champs like Teemo/Jax. Low Magic resist also opens her up to vulnerability against most mages if she isn't careful. Duskblade is a much needed buy. Other good options are IE/Trinity Force/Black Cleaver(once you have R). Crit and Lethality are your go to sources, but Edge of Night/Mercurial/Maw might be needed depending on the enemy team comp, since she has such low MR.

I really like the idea of a former Demacian who is spying for Noxus now and this artwork is great.

The feature that she can steal the farm of the enemy might be a bit too frustrating, it should at least have the restriction that you can't use it on cannon minions in my opinion.

Also, a charming trap is a nice idea and fits your concept really well, since she is cunning and manipulative. I guess you planned her for the support role?

Was she also once a male that now has transitioned? She must be or i don't think Riot will ever consider this.

I would make daggers go through enemies and only stick in walls and give her a rengar jump while she is stealthed with w (losing stealth AFTER the "jump" for style purposes ^^)

Stealing enemy cs with her passive is op for sure and enemies affected by her e should become immune to her e for about 10 seconds.

Also you should either reduce the charm duration of e or remove the armor debuff, I think. And make her unable to put traps too close to other traps. Also, I would maybe remove the untargetable effect from w active.

For the R, I'm not sure how a blade just spinning in the air could look like.
