Old Legends Taric

I am a Taric main on my main profile and I have a request for a skin.

The skin is just on his outfit, it is with the same elements as the old Taric: Shield, hammer, crystals ot of his shoulders and hammer, metal and chainmail armor... The same outfit as the old one on the new Taric just retouched and modernized. The skin can also have 3 chromas with the old skin colors.

I know that the new model is completely different from the old one and this skin will require separate animations and a lot of work. But this would be a great skin.

Dont get me wrong I cant wait for the new one to go live. But I wold love to have a tribute skin to the old Taric.

EDIT: I am not suggesting a traditional skin, one like Sejuani's. A new skin with the old stuff(updated) as his outfit: Instead of a Mace - Hammer with crystal growth on the ends, V-neck - Armour and chainmail...

I approve, Riot, THIS! DO THIS NAO!

Show the honors that an old veteran champion deserve (you gave it to gp, sej, karma even trundle)

Drop everything else and

MAKE. THIS. HAPPEN! (Please)

#The Argument for the stop of Traditional Skins

It would take too much resources and time for something that Riot wont make a profit off of. It's a business not a charity.

#The argument against it

It is just laziness on Riot's part. They make no profit off of it, so they don't do it anymore. Some argue that while they might have to use up resources for an unprofitable thing, quality supercedes quantity. You don't need 150 voice lines if only 20 sounds good.

#My Opinion & Thoughts

I think that it was more of a behind the scenes decision (from deep within the economic sector of the company, rather than from the Skins, Art, and Lore Team). Personally, this could be changed by simply placing Traditional skins for purchase (at a reduced special price; 550 RP? 650 RP?) That way you'd make money off of them. It would make sense to add attention to a champion that you're reworking by giving them a skin that highlights their past.

It might take a bit more time and resources added to a rework but at the end of the day, Riot's reworking skills are not the best and people are always in discontent at the reworked content, so if they took the time to actually sit down and fix all of these problems, they wouldn't need Traditional skins in the first place. With that being said, it is very difficult to get everyone to agree on the same thing, but the community should at least have a say in what goes in or out the kit.

I don't completely disagree, but I feel like it would devalidate his update in some ways. By which I mean that they've updated his model and texture to reflect a change in Taric, and giving you the option of looking like the old Taric changes the identity of the new Taric. Which is not ideal for Riot, because they want players to embrace the new Taric, and not get fixated on the old.

I enjoy his rework, but with his rework, he is no longer Taric. He is a completely different champion now. He isn't even the Gem Knight anymore. I desperately want a traditional skin. My username was inspired by Taric the Gem Knight. Not this new Casanova.

In all honesty, the traditional skin wouldn't even need his shield, just his old armor more modernized to the model, and his old voice files. (His voice was everything to me, his quotes were everything to me. I miss him so much.)
