RIOT is it possible to make the Howling Abyss more toaster friendly?

Would it help a bit if the relief behind and under the bridge is removed?

Even if it just a bit I think it would help a lot for toasters, sometimes we have a LoL party at home with friends and we need to bring out the old stickers covered lap-top to play, who is only capable to withstand 2 ARAM matches before reaching critical temperatures. Since the minion update we noticed a bit lower FPS....

So can this help and if "yes" can we have an option for disabling the graphics for the abyss? You know, everything but the bridge to be, just black... a pitch black abyss!

I can personally say that I have been there. Before I got my gaming computer, I was running league on a laptop that ran rift at 30-60 fps and ARAMS at 10 and below. The below being whenever the bridge decided to do any of the animations you couldn't turn off (bridge pieces falling off the side, ect.) It was honestly very frustrating. There are many users that have lower end machines that just can't run the ARAM map at all ( I remember this point being brought up as far back as the Snowdown Showdown 1v1/2v2 Event.) If Riot can't give us an option that would secure our FPS, I would suggest they up the system requirements on the game cause honestly, I feel bad for people with toasters (which was why I upgraded).

Yeah... Getting a new computer because mine runs League at 15-20 fps on a good day. God forbid a team fight starts- Which is basically the entirety of ARAM.

I agree there should be a pitch black abyss option in the option menu so everyone can at least play aram.

My computer is a few years old and was cheap as fuck and even I don't get lag on ARAM. How exactly do you lag in league? o_O

Here he is:

MSI CX620MX-i3343W7P

Specifications

MSI CX620MX-i3343W7PNotebook: MSI CX620MX-i3343W7P Processor: Intel Core i3 330M Graphics Adapter: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 545v 512 MB Display: 15.6 inch, 16:9, 1366x768 pixels Weight: 2.454kg Price: 599 euro

And that was the price when we bought it in the beginning of 2010, and in team fights the FPS can drop to 12.

I'm guessing it's your laptops video card that's the bottleneck. The thing barely registers on benchmark comparisons.

I doubt there's much that can be done on your side for it. Maybe hope that the same changes they made to Summoners Rift to increase its performance will be used on the new ARAM map?
