Joel, the Burglar of Noxus (Sorry D: No pictures)
Design: A champion that looks similar to
, just a different face, textures, clothes, and have him hold a purple/dark blue knife in his hand.
LORE: Joel, born and raised in Noxus. Joel has a very straight forward story, for we was never accepted. You see, Noxus is a kingdom based off of strength. Those who are weak are seen as worthless. Joel was always very weak, and was always trampled on by those who were greater than him. But Joel realized that he didn't HAVE to be strong to be a Noxian. He could seem strong. He practiced every night in wall jumping, wall climbing, acrobatics, everything that had to do with agility and precise movements. Joel now seemed to be one of the strongest in Noxus. He led the squad in the army that held assassins and spies, and helped Noxus greatly in all of it's fights. But after realizing how powerful he was, he wanted more. Joel had heard the tales of the Void, it's intense power and knowledge. Joel had to obtain it. So on the night that Noxus had won a battle, Joel ran away to Ionia, with his trusty knife, where the void gate lied. He approached it carefully, and simply peered into the hole. Joel suddenly was lashed backwards by dark magic, and started to feel searing pain throughout his entire body. He knew he had to conquer this power. Joel used as much will-power as he could to get up and overpower the powerful magic. When he did this, all the magic and pain flowed from his body and into his knife and boots, and felt stronger. He had gained the power he was looking for. "Time to test this out on worthy opponents," he said, leaving to go to the Fields of Justice.
Abilities: Passive: Whenever Joel lands an ability on an enemy champion, his movement speed is increased by 5% for 5 seconds (Stacks up to 3 times). ALSO Joel gains an extra piece of gold in his CS
Q; Time Dash: Joel dashes to a target location, dealing magic damage to the first 3 enemy units hit. Each enemy unit after that is slowed by 50%. Damage scaling:30/40/60/80/100 (+50% AP)/ Cooldown; 10/10/10/9/8 seconds. Mana; 45/50/60/60/60
W; Fast Fingers: PASSIVE: Joel blocks 50% of the damage from the next basic attack (15 second cooldown) After this passive has been activated, Joel can then activate this spell to deal the damage that was blocked onto an enemy unit as physical damage. Minion attacks DO NOT activate the passive. MANA FOR ACTIVE: 20/30/40/50/50
E; Magical Blade: Joel throws a skillshot knife, dealing magic damage to the first enemy it hits. Joel also has the option of throwing the knife, and reactivating the spell again in mid air to make it explode in a small area, dealing magic damage and slowing anyone it hits. Damage Scaling: (Upon knife impact) 30/40/50/70/90 (+60% AP) Damage Scaling: (Explosion) 20/30/40/50/70 (+40% AP) SLOW: 50%/50%/50%/50%/50% MANA: 50/50/60/60/65 Cooldown: 10/10/10/10/10
R/Ult; Knife Storm: Joel becomes un-targetable for 3 seconds, is unable to cast abilities or basic attack in this state, and gains a 50% movement speed bonus in this state. Whenever Joel becomes targetable again, he throws a storm of knives around him in a perfect circle, and reach out until a piece of terrain or enemy is hit by that knife, dealing large amounts of magic damage. If an enemy is hit by a second knife, the damage is doubled. If hit by a third knife, the damage is tripled, etc. If an enemy is hit, Joel gains 30 extra gold. Damage Scaling: 100/150/250 (+30% AP OR 50% AD) MANA: 100/100/100 Cooldown: 120/100/90 seconds.
Play Styles: **Mid Lane:**Joel is a burst damage carry, being able to easily win 1v3 situations depending on the players skill. He would be played in the middle lane, being able to CS easily with his abilities, and poking very well. Positioning is important with Joel, for he is quite squishy early game and can be bullied by heavy burst damage champions that can combo up, such as Syndra and LeBlanc. Saving his Q for engaging or dodging CC is very important when laning, never use it to poke, for you would be to close to the enemy champion to dodge any skill shots and would most likely die. Now, looking at Joel's abilities and passive, it is a possibility that he can play as an AD champ. Using his W in fights would be greatly important for blocking damage so he could get in the fight and basic attack, use his Q to engage on an enemy and gain a bit of a speed boost, and use your E for extra damage and a speed boost. Also, so you are not punished to badly for choosing to go AD on an AP styled champ, his ultimate scales greater on AD than on AP.
Team Fights: Despite the name making Joel seem more like a 1v1 type of champion, Joel excels in taking on multiple enemies at once. His passive allows him to gain speed, and he can kite super easily. He can Q to position greatly and E to damage and kite. Also his W would allow him more sustain. And if you need to make a quick escape, just use your ultimate. It makes you un-targetable and gives yourself a large speed boost for 3 seconds! In team fights, try to stay away from combat, but come in from behind (engage with your Q) and pop your ultimate. You will damage all of the enemies around you, and have an easy time doing so. For extra damage, you can E and make the knife explode to do surrounding damage. With you just blowing all of your abilities, you are now extremely vulnerable. Your passive and W come in to help you make and escape! The speed boost and damage blocking will allow you to make a close escape.
