Another Nunu Rework Idea

Thematic/Backstory idea:

The story starts with Nunu being taken out to watch/help his tribe hunt/capture creatures, but the creatures they need lives in yeti territory. Normally it would be forbidden to enter the area, let alone taking a child, but a fever(maybe it's magical and Lissandra did it) is overtaking the town and they need as many able bodies as possible to retrieve the ingredients from the creatures for the cure. They travel up a mountain that the yeti territory encompasses to capture/hunt the creatures they need just to have a blizzard hit as they get close to where their prey lives. The head of the party refuses to turn back or take shelter yet, being as close as they are so they continue forward. The weather is abnormally chilling for this area and one man dies from the cold. Nunu being a child is having a hard time in the weather and the men beg the leader to put up shelter. After several minutes of this they finally set up shelter, but despite this they are not getting any warmer, they have simply slowed it down. Even the leader begins to worry at this point and decides they must take drastic measures down the mountain with their sleds as they won't survive the same path back down. As they decide this several of the creatures descend on their camp having noticed the fire. They easily kill several of the tribesmen who are weak from the blizzard. As the last few try to fend them off, Nunu's father puts Nunu in a sled, wraps him up, and pushes him down the steep cliff with a carcass of one of the few beasts they have felled in the hopes that he might survive and save the tribe. Miraculously Nunu survives the sled ride, but the sled is broken and both Nunu and the sled's contents have spilled all over the thick snow-covered forest floor that lies below the mountain. Nunu attempts to get up but is unable to in his weak state. Just as soon as he attempts this he hears the gnashing of teeth on bone behind him. He forces himself to turn over as he sees [some other wild life creature's corpse] being ripped to shreds by a yeti. Horrified and scared Nunu attempts to crawl away as best he can. He gets no more than a few feet before he makes a realization and starts frantically looking for the carcass entrusted to him. To his horror it landed a mere few feet away from the yeti. Nunu frantically crawls over to it in an attempt to take it with him or at least guard it. This gets him noticed. The yeti finishes off it's meal bones and all and quickly rises to it's feet. Nunu crawls faster to the carcass despite not being able to feel his arms and legs and being in immense pain from the fall. The yeti picks up Nunu, who is expecting to be crushed and eaten. The yeti stares at him for a bit as Nunu starts to tear up, frantically looking between the carcass and Nunu. The yeti picks up the carcass and hefts it over his shoulder and begins collecting Nunu's things. He straps the remains of Nunu's sled and his equipment to his back, and places Nunu inside. Willump(the yeti) then carries Nunu back to his cave, strangely enough warming and invigorating Nunu despite this magical blizzard. Willump then nurses Nunu back to health and Nunu pleads with Willump to take him back to his tribe. Willump hesitates, but eventually gives a grunt of acceptance and off they go. As they near the edge of the yeti territory a larger yeti attempts to stop them, they somehow manage to outrun him and make it back. After the people are cured the tribal leader accuses Willump of killing the other tribesmen and they rise up ready to kill Willump. Nunu trys to reason with them just for the leader to accuse Nunu of bringing such a bad omen to their land, and banishing him. Willump sensing the hostility towards Nunu, grabs him up and runs off with him.

Alternatively he could be welcomed as the guardian of the tribe.

Gameplay idea:

P: Every 5 auto attacks gives Nunu an empowered ability, an extra 3% movement speed and 5% attack speed for 5 seconds(non stacking).

  • Q: +160 true damage against monsters, +50 healing, +40 true damage to champions, can be used on turrets equal to champion damage. If used on an epic monster while empowered, grants +20 max health permanently.

  • W: +10% AP on aoe damage ticks, +5% attack speed, +1% movement speed(all bonuses here doubled if used on allies instead of Nunu).

  • E: +50 damage, +5% slow, ally buff range +50 units.

*R: +250 damage(damage reductions from interruption time apply to this), grants allies within 325 units of you Magical Frostbite at start of channel as well.

Q: Willump takes a bite out of the target dealing 340/500/660/820/980 true damage to minions/monsters, heals for 100/150/200/250/300 +65% AP; and 40/80/120/160/200 +1% Nunu's Max health as true damage, grounds them for 0.1s, does not heal him, and goes on cooldown for 2.5x against champions; Nunu gains a stack of well fed(same duration and conditions as live) and is granted 2% max health per stack(up to 5 stacks). Cooldown of 12/11/10/9/8 seconds. Target range: 150. Mana cost of 65.

W: Passive: Whenever Nunu is within 375 units of an enemy afflicted by Magical Frostbite he gains +3% movement speed, +20% attack speed(or equivalent when attack speed rework comes by), and +20/25/30/35/40AP. He gains half as much while within 375 units of an ally afflicted with Magical Frostbite. Active: Nunu surrounds an ally with a miniature blizzard of 375 units dealing 0.4% of Nunu's max health per half second to nearby enemies as magic damage and afflicts the ally with Magical Frostbite on cast for 6 seconds extending the duration by 1 second each time the blizzard deals damage up to a total duration of 12 seconds. Magical Frostbite grants afflicted allies +20/25/30/35/40% attack speed and +5/6/7/8/9% movement speed. It can also be self cast for a range of 425 and 0.5% of Nunu's max health +15%AP with half damage against monsters when on Nunu(he also gains benefits of active and passive from this). Target range of 700 units. Cooldown of 16 seconds. Mana cost of 50 mana.

E: Nunu throws a ball of ice at the enemy unit dealing 100/150/200/250/300 +75% AP magic damage and applying Magical Frostbite to them. Magical Frostbite cripples the target enemy for 25% attack speed(or equivalent when attack speed rework comes by), and slows them for 35/40/45/50/55% movement speed for 2 seconds. The nearest ally within 500 units to an enemy champion afflicted with magical frostbite gains +5% movement speed and +10% attack speed(or equivalent when attack speed rework comes by). Range of 550 units. Same projectile speed. Cooldown of 7/6.5/6/5.5/5 seconds. Mana cost of 60/65/70/75/80 mana.

R: Same as live but applies Magical Frostbite on allies and enemies on release for 2 seconds if channeled for at least 2.5 seconds.

Visual Update idea

Looks more rigid/muscular/menacing body shape wise, with a frost wolf pelt draped over one shoulder and the remains of Nunu's sled from my story tied to his back with a rope crossing his stomach and a rope from one shoulder diagonally to that crossing over the wold pelt. Nunu would hold on to a bar of the sled remains and the sled would be in such a matter as to be almost like a rectangular basket with many pelts and blankets inside and some spilling out a bit. Ropes would be holding it together in a messy fashion. On death Willump would fall backwards onto the sled and shards would fly out from under him. You would see Nunu's glove reach out then flop to the ground from under his back.
