Bazerka Appreciation Thread

Can we just pause the hate for one moment. You don't need to stop being angry or any of that, but I would like to recognize that even though it took days, and isn't an official statement, we have a Rioter responding.

I just wanted to take a moment with the community and thank him for reaching out to us, for wanting to hear us out.

I wanted a discussion that he could look at and say: "It was worth putting my neck on the chopping block".

And I would ask, while, again you don't have to stop hating on Riot or the situation, or the lack of an official response, etc; that you try your best not to lash that out on Bazerka. We know there are some good Rioters, since one of them had to leak the slack chats (think that was the name), so cut Bazerka some personal slack.

If you can't stop anger, and want to talk to him (and if he still wants to keep talking to the community), at least make sure your anger is directed at Riot, not to him personally.

Thanks Bazerka, you give me some faith that this will eventually be handled properly by Riot and I don't have to give up playing my favorite game forever.

Thanks again

P.S. (for Bazerka) Is Riot going to update the Nunu and Willump emotes on here?

P.S. (for Boards-ers) Please no flaming below, keep things positive, one positive post isn't going to drown out all the complaints we have, it's fine for one post. It might even encourage Riot to give a statement, who knows.

I wish people were more able to separate 'individuals who work at a company' from 'the company themselves'.

Riot has easily hundreds of employees who had nothing to do with the controversy, have no say in the controversy, and are not involved in the upper level decision making following the controversy. They just happen to work at the same company as the person who caused it.

It's absolutely understandable to be upset at the organization and the individual who directly caused the controversy(although I feel like some people are going a bit far in the vitriol... but... not my place to argue).

It's not understandable to blame every single person who works there for that and hold them all responsible for it.

And, because of that, I wish people were more willing to embrace the occasions when someone NOT related to the controversy reaches out to us about normal everyday matters.
