@riot I have 699 999 mastery points on my susan, can you consider this suggestion?

a small displacement. a bump. like, less than melee range. lulu and shy do, why doesn't nasus and ren? in any anime, if you grow in size, it knocks enemies back. this is just to stop channels, and the slightest use of cotc. this isn't some obligation because of my points, more of having the recognition that ive had time to think while gettin my scooby stax.

  1. Pick Nasus with Yasuo
  2. Flash+Ult with Nasus into group of enemies
  3. Yasuo Ult + Nasus E (many are maxing E, I don't know why) + huge CoC

It's called Push Nasus. If you thought normal Nasus, the tanky monster that did nothing but farm all game, was bad then you will absolutely hate to play against this new Nasus.

His entire things is just push push push push push push and divert all the attention away from Objectives and other lanes and get every champion on the enemy team to come gank you...or at least get their jungler to.

Corrupting Potion -> Two Doran's Rings -> ZZ'Rot makes him hard to kill and makes his pushing ability just...well you have to see it for yourself.

I dont WANT to play push nasus. i want them to nerf his e base damage, up the ratio, and give his ult a small knock back. like, TINY knockback. just to stop tps. this slayer guy tho is over estimating how big of an area this would do. like you'd have to be CLOSER than melee range with this. as if, when nasus or ren GREW, they push you back with their new found gerth. im not talking a no damage malphite ult here. like, you'd be LUCKY to manage to push multiple people. they'd have to be basically on top of you.

So why add this tiny knockup effect when it would be literally useless outside of very specific circumstances? Less than melee range pretty much means you need to be more right on top of someone that you already were. At least something like Lulu's ult has more utility overall. Plus Nasus and Renekton's ults already have the utility of increasing their attack range slightly, giving them bonus health, and dealing damage to all nearby enemies. And now Nasus' ultimate turns him into a Donald Trump-worthy wall of armor and MR.

I guess I can see why you would want this, but I can't see it ever being applicable in most situations. Just being able to disrupt TP's? Play a champ with some actual CC.

At least, that's the course of action I would recommend taking.

so... lemme get this straight. you don't like this idea, because it doesn't seem useful in most situations... so what is the problem here? like this is no damage, and not easily utilized? like noone with half a brain would use cotc on nasus if this even worked- this is literally just to have some counter play to tps in your face as nasus. almost every other toplaner has some way to stop a tp besides nasus. like, people don't even try to be polite about it, and just do that channel right in front of you. its not right! also, you know they are gunna nerf "push nasus" soon, this would be a slight compensation that wouldn't technically effect much at all.

The problem is that Nasus doesn't need it and it adds nothing to his gameplay. Oh, those few instances of time where you're dueling your top lane opponent and they just TP away. snap Darn, wish I'd played someone other than Nasus. Oh well, guess I get to farm freely now while they're out of lane.

See what I'm talking about? There wouldn't be any point in adding this mechanic to Nasus because it adds nothing to his kit. Why would they implement something like that? I think the reason Nasus doesn't have something like, say, a stun or another form of hard CC (which would include this no-range knockup on his cult) is because he has A) An infinitely stacking damage mechanic, B) A slow that basically turns INTO a stun once he maxes it, C) A big-damage AOE that gives him actually some really nice poke AND reduces the armor of people who stand on it, and D) an ult that boosts his attack range, armor, magic resist, and deals damage to everybody.

His kit isn't meant to be CC overloaded or have very many forms of CC in it period, regardless of what kind or how close he needs to be to someone to actually use it.

You're agreeing that this wouldn't add much at all, so why do you want it so badly? I can understand wanting to play Nasus, but people need counterplea for him considering how hard he scales if you stack correctly. Being able to Teleport away in the middle of fighting him is one of those counterplay mechanics.

No, because them he could abuse Courage of the Colosus.

Denims Wrath6661 votes

abuse? pardon? like, are you even reading what im asking here. VERY small area to manage this knock up- so "abusing" this keystone would require flashes, or poor enemy placement. like this would basically be a skillshot that if you fk up, you ded. and besides, storm raiders is still better on nasus than cotc

Maximum Morde1 votes

Not in lane it wouldn't be. It would push him further on the path of the unkillable uninteractive laner. I agree in team fights storm raider would be better, but since when does Nasus ever leave lane?

Denims Wrath6661 votes

but whats the difference between another 7% health or w/e on nasus anyways? lemme say this again, VERY SMALL AREA to pull this off. like its already a long fight to kill the guy- this really wouldnt change the fights AT ALL. if anything, anyone using cotc would be nerfing nasus potential as a team player.
