{Champion Concept} Aaryan, the Psychokinetic

Hey, so I was thinking about leagues champions and I'm kind of a fanatic when it comes to KITs, Niche's and Art, so I decided to see what I could come up with. This guy is made to be a Mid-Lane mage who fights with his mental power. Hope you enjoy. And if you do, hit the +1!

STORY Aaryan comes from a long line of warriors who train their bodies through metaphysical exercise. Instead of lifting, pushing and pulling using physical muscle, his clan used mental strength to complete various task that would otherwise take a toll on the natural body itself. Using this spiritual force has however increased his muscle structure due to the forces of the cosmos that bind both mental and physical energies alike. Through proper technique, Aaryan has become a elite combatant in his clan. As the top student, he sought multiple challenges to full fill his desire to prove that he was unbeatable. He succeeded in every bout. With no one left to Rival his ultimate power, he secluded himself in the northern parts of Ironspike Mountains to further improve his technique. After years of strenuous training he became numb to the ways of combat; feeling like there was no one to match his skill.

Suddenly he was overcome with a revelation. Giving up his life goal would be his ultimate defeat. Losing was not the way of his clan, nor was it the way Aaryan would want to be remembered. Though the trill of battle had left his soul, his pride and will held on to to further intentions. Because of this, Aaryan's new venture would be to roam the land aimlessly in search off conquering any fighter who would try to overcome his legacy as the greatest fighter to grace the land of Runeterra.

Role: Battle-Mage/Fighter

Base Stats: Health 571 – 2016 Attack damage 61 – 116 Health regen. 5.4 – 19.3 Attack speed [*] 0.651 (+0% – 51.0%) Mana 392 – 1276 Armor 24.2 – 87.1 Mana regen. 5.0 – 22.0 Magic res. 32.1 – 53.4 Melee Range 250 Mov. speed 345

Auto-Attack Animation Aaryan will throw a phantom punches and kicks that hits targets even if they are at 250 range.

PASSIVE: Supreme Focus

*Aaryan uses a Fury Meter as his resource, in combat Aaryan gains Fury over time, dealing or taking damage further increases Aaryan's Fury until full. For every 4% of Fury, Aayran gains 1% of Magic Pen. and 3% extra magic damage on-hit (scaling with AP)... At full Fury, Aaryan's Ability types become altered.

Magic Pen Cap from Passive: 25% **Bonus Damage Physical Damage from Passive: (75%) Ability Power **

Example of Altered Abilities: His (Q) Is a Skill-Shot ability, but at full Fury, it will become a Single-Target Spell. And his (E) has a brief delay after cast, but will be almost instant with full fury.

(Ability 1) Q: Psychokinesis

Aaryan fires a blast of kinetic energy up to 800 range dealing (80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 +75% AP) magic damage, lifting up the 1st enemy stuck and putting a target in A suspended state for 1 second. While lifted, Aaryan may recast it within the next second to use Telekinetic Throw, OR (E) Force-Uppercut to be cast in mid-air.

Q: Telekinetic Throw

He may reactivate this ability (Psychokinesis) to launch the enemy up to 600 / 700 / 800 / 900 / 1000 units in the direction of the cursor from the targets location, Enemy champions are thrown only half the distance. Targets struck by the enemy unit are knocked aside and targets will be stunned for half a second upon collision with walls and structures.

  • The reduction of distance thrown for enemy champions helps mitigate this ability. The scaling toss range makes this MUCH stronger the later in the game you are. You're also rewarded slightly for hitting champions with other champions, but the overall CC duration remains relatively low, since it IS a basic ability). >The thrown unit is considered to be under Forced Action until destination is reached.

COOL DOWN: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Range: 800 TYPE: Skill-Shot/ Single-Target when at full Fury or in Ultimate

(Ability 2) W: Psychic Assault

Aaryan pummels his opponents with a barrage of telekinetic blows. He throws a 4-hit combo (one blow every 0.25 seconds) in the direction of the cursor in a line, passing through units and stopping at the 1st enemy champion hit. Each of which deals ( 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 +30% AP) bonus magic damage and applies on-hit and spell effects. The last attack deals double the bonus damage** (20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 + 60% AP)**. Enemies within 250 range are knocked back to 250 range for every blow landed.

Cool down: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds Range: 800 (Max) TYPE: Skill-Shot/Single target spell when at full Fury or in Ultimate

  • At Maximum Fury Aayran's (W) will become a single-target barrage of attacks, he still throws the combo in a line but he is able to cast while moving and auto-locking on the opponent. The force from the blows will still effect minions and monsters in the path.

(Ability 3) Force Uppercut

Aaryan throws a powerful psychic upper, effecting a targeted location. After a brief delay, enemies are knocked up for 1 second and take 80/135/190/245/305 (+.8 AP) Magic Damage in an AOE. Minions and monsters around the area take double damage.

COOL DOWN: 6 seconds RANGE: 800 TYPE: AOE with a small delay/ Instant when at Max Fury SPELL WIDTH: Same as Vel'Koz (E)

(Ultimate) Calming of Mind

Aaryan drains his all of his current Fury rapidly over time (Like Shyvanna) as he coverts into state of composure, his walk animation is changed into a hovering glide. He gains Benefits from his Supreme Focus passive from how much he has acquired before ULT. until his fury is empty. In this state, Aaryan reduces all Non-Ultimate Cooldowns by 33% when landing an ability successfully and gains 50/80/120 additional Ability Power..

  • His abilities have the following Bonus effects during Calming of Mind.

Empowered Telekinetic Throw

Throw Range Increased on Enemy Champions. Also, additional magic damage and a 30% slow is dealt to both the target and every target they knock aside if they collide with any other enemies or structures . Slow decays over 2.5 seconds.

Empowered Psychic Assault

Aaryan releases one single and powerful blow, dealing Psychic Assaults damage all at once. Close range enemies are still knocked back.

Empowered Force-Uppercut

Aaryan is healed by 8% Of his Max Health for every Champion Knocked up by Force-Uppercut

COOL DOWN: 80/60/40 seconds COST: All of current Rage TYPE: Self Cast

Gaining Full Rage

  • Aaryan's hands will glow and his ability animations will change slightly, he'll put extra "umph" into his attacks and abilities to show he's really starting to be pissed off and taking the battle seriously.

Using Ultimate (A deep breath) Regain poise Superior equanimity Hold your composure My mind is in tact Diligence

  • Aaryan's hands glow as if the passive were active and there is a healing circle below him as the rage drains. His head is slightly tilled to the side and downwards as if he's had enough play time and his ability animation's seem more calm and finesse, though the animations appeal as devastation hits on impact.

Just made a few changes to my KIT and LORE, feedback is appreciated. Please give me your honest opinion on balance, counter-play, and if this Champion seems fun.

Great concept. Looks fun to play. The kit seems pretty balanced. Well thought out.
