Ignis, The Rekindled Flame

Daumantus had killed Ignis by usurping his aspect mantle, but thousands of years later necromancers had other plans and tried reviving the strange being to create a new and powerful slave. The ritual ended horribly with the aspect absorbing all of the magic and even the necromancers' very lives in the process. A flame was rekindled, rage burned inside, and Ignis began seeking out his past assailant.

Abilities


Passive: Steady Heat Standing still builds Heat stacks at a rate of 50/75/100 per second; up to 500 stacks after 10/7.5/5 seconds of standing still. Moving will cause Heat stacks to decay at a rate of 25/30/35 per  second. Abilities will also cost Heat to cast, but may be cast less effectively with no heat .

Every 50 Heat stacks grants +2.5% damage, +5% movement speed, and heals 0.5/1.5/2.5 health per second. (Levels 1/8/15


Q: Fire Poker | CD 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 | Cost 70/75/80/85/90 | Range 850 Ignis throws a large flaming metal spike in a direction, sticking to the first enemy or wall struck for up to 15 seconds. Deals 50/85/110/145/170+(80% AD) Physical Damage. Recast to blow it up and deal 30/50/70/90/110+(40% AP) magic damage to enemies in a 200 unit radius.

No Heat: breaks on contact.


W: Combustible Shield | CD 15/14.5/14/13.5/13 | Cost 125/140/155/170/185 Ignis gains a shield for 50/75/100/125/150+(25% AP) that lasts 2 seconds. After depleted Ignis can reactivate to deal 25/40/55/70/85+(20% AP) + all the damage that was dealt to the shield as magic damage in a 1,000x100 unit line in a direction after a small 0.25 second delay.

No Heat: cannot reactivate.


E: The Flame's Embrace | CD 16/15/14/13/12 | Cost 100/110/120/130/140 Heat | Range 400 Ignis rushes forward, dealing 55/100/145/190/235+(100% AD) physical damage to all enemies passed through, and leaves a lingering trail of flames behind him that lasts 3 seconds and deals 30/45/60/75/90+(20% AP) magic damage every 0.5 seconds.

No Heat: doesn't leave a trail.


R: Raging Inferno | CD 180/150/120 | Cost 25-500 | Radius 325-800 Ignis consumes all of his Heat and releases a fast spreading wave of fire from his core after 0.4 seconds. Deals 140/260/380+(80% AP) magic damage in a 300+(100% Current Heat) radius, and pushes all enemies away to the end of the radius.

No Heat: Completely fills up Heat instead, and refunds 50% of the CD.


Heat will drain from full to empty in 20/16.6/14.2 seconds just from walking. Add in 3 rank 5 abilities and you're down to 85 Heat, for only 2 seconds of run time... Or potentially missing out on an empowered ability. R is very situational, as it can't be used in a full-combo and still push enemies far away, or deal damage in a large range. Zhonya's paired up with his R can really help out in late-game teamfights, to charge up Heat in the middle of a battle.

Honestly I don't see how he is like Brand guys xD At least, game-play wise. He uses fire when he has heat, but if you don't have any then he shares NO similarities... Even with his abilities he only shares the "fire" aspect. Brand doesn't even see the similarity [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Hum.

It's very thoughtful of you to put those ap and ad ratios the way they are, since his passive kind of encourages him to build ad, but his abilities... doesn't.

Just 1 question: When you say standing still, does it include stand in the same place, and auto-attacking. If the answer is yes, then becoming an ad jungler will probably be the primary choice, since he can solo dragon (or even solo baron) very early into the game thanks to his passive.

I can kind of tell that the passive is somewhat more meant to ap build rather than ad, since most of the ap ratios are in the reactivate parts, but since he is ranged, I guess he can build hybrid?

Btw where do you get those sick pictures? I've been browsing deviantart for days looking for a good picture to fit with my concept (which I typed out in a google docs)...

Edit: Actually, he can also be mid or even adc. He has a sad attack range for ranged carries, but I guess that dash makes up for it?
