I think riot was trying out the concept of changing a characters attack animation style completely.

Lee before only attacked with his legs for the majority of the time. With that skin he now hits with his hands. That was actually a pretty "historic" skin as far as new skin ideas go. Not many (If any) skins change how a characters attacks function in that way.

But u see this is an injustice because vi would look really funny in big red boxing gloves
