@Meddler @Riot please make Fiora's E use her crit animation.

It's really weird that her E, a guaranteed crit does not use her crit animation, can you please fix this.

I remember we specifically didn't use the crit and made a special "E second hit" anim to make it flow better - get that 1 2 3 feel when you use it well.

Feedback is feedback though, so I'll take another look at it in game and see if there's a good reason to change it to crit.

Wait, question what do you mean by feel better? do crit animation's take longer or are they easier to cancel? why would it make it flow better, I am quite curious on this

Her E is a hit combo. The first strikes her enemy from left to right, and then the second hit is a more powerful slash in the opposite direction that she flourishes. It has a unique animation of its own that isn't anywhere else in Fiora's kit to my knowledge, and gives her a very good combo-y feel.

Ahhhh ok ty was a bit confused then mb, thank you for the answer

Oh, then my bad. I was not aware it had its own animation, perhaps I was too focused expecting it to use her crit I didn't even think that it'd play a all together different animation.

So, a bit unrelated to Fiora but it's in the same area -

Before her update in Preseason 6, Quinn used to have a standard auto attack animation that was distinct from her crit anim. Now, all her AAs are using her crit animation. If I remember correctly, RiotRepertoir made this change because Quinn's pre-rework AAs were buggy, so he solved it by just replacing all her AAs with the crit animation. But do you think there's any chance we can get her old auto attack animations back, without all the bugginess? At least for clarity's sake, I think it's important -- but they were also just damn cool to look at (now she no longer has an animation that shows her reloading her crossbow).

The first basic attack can never critically strike, but Slow icon slows its target by 30% for 1 second, while the second basic attack is guaranteed to **critically strike **for bonus critical damage.

how many reasons do we need

(323k Fiora main) I don't really care if it makes the animation or not, it doesn't affect me I can't even recall what her crit animation is as I don't pay attention to it Although I don't think it's that big of an issue

490K mastery, it doesn't make a gameplay difference but if still like it. It just reeks of laziness that they couldn't even make it use the crit animation.

''Reek of lazyness'' - When they made a NEW animation for the second E instead of actually recycling the Crit one facepalm

It's just a color effect on the second hit.

Scruffy just posted here that they made a special animation for the E. But just to be sure I made a little research to make sure it is true. Apparently Fiora has a singular attack animation for standard basic attacks (left-to-right slash, listed as Attack 2). However, when she uses her E, the first attack uses the standard animation, but the second one uses a right-to-left slash, listed as Attack 1. Her standard crit has its own animation (forward stab), which means there truly is a special animation for her E crit.

No. Those are just her standard auto attacks, she has two. They've both been there since before her rework, there is no special animation, I tested it and looked on the model viewer. Not only that I know she's had those animations since before her rework, I used to main her I'm positive that that is not a new animation.
