Talent tree concepts (A-E)

For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, a talent tree is something you unlock by levelling up your champion to improve their stats or abilities.

At each level with a talent, you have the choice between two (in dota) or more (in HOTS) potential bonuses. These range from minor stat buffs to improvements to your abilities to new abilities entirely.

I'll be basing this on Dota's system, since the system in HOTS is super convoluted from what I understand.

Under this system, you gain an extra skill point at levels 8, 13, and 18. This skill point can only be used on talents.

This will increase the overall power level in the game, and to compensate I'd probably phase out keystones.

Aatrox Level 8: +200 HP or -1 second Umbral Dash CD Level 13: +75% World Ender Attack Speed or +20% Darkin Blade ratio Level 18: World Ender Refreshes in Combat or +100 movement speed

Problem is it'd be too rewarding for late-game champions. League is balanced into early-game mid-game late-game, certain champions are stronger at certain points and that balances them out. Late-game scaling champs would get overpowered while early-game champs wouldn't benefit in the early game from that mechanic. It is interesting though. Imagine Viktor.
