All similarities to other champs are coincidence and your paranoia getting to you!

Ghraath (Prounounced: Graa-th, like Cho'Gath, with an R in there.)

  • Please note that it scales off his base attack damage, so he will only be gaining (roughly) 40 Armor and Magic Resist at level 18 for those 5 seconds.

Ruthless Howl (Q):

Ghraath let's out a blood-curdling howl in a cone, dealing magic damage and lowering the Armor of all enemies hit for 3.5 seconds.

Frenzied Bloodlust (E):

Passive: Ghraath's basic attacks and damaging abilities apply marks to enemy units, up to a maximum of 5 marks. Upon applying the 5th mark upon an enemy, Ghraath deals magic damage equal to a base amount plus a percentage of the target's maximum health, (capped against minions and monsters) and grants true sight of the target enemy for 5 seconds.

Exiled Terror / Terror of the Void (R): Exiled Terror: Ghraath bursts into a cloud of darkness, falling into the void, stealthing himself for a short duration and stunning all nearby enemies for 0.5 seconds. For Exlied Terror's stealth duration, Ghraath can use Terror of the Void once.

Stealth Duration: 3 / 5 / 7 seconds

Terror of the Void: Ghraath breaks from his stealth and channels for 0.5 seconds, before emitting a large, shadowy figure in a wide cone in front of him, dealing physical damage to all enemies hit.

Damage: 175 / 250 / 325 (+0.85 per bonus attack damage)

Mana Cost: 100 / 125 / 150 mana Cooldown: 120 / 100 / 80 seconds Range: 725

  • Please note that, like most other stealths in League, it can be broken early if the caster auto attacks or uses an ability.
    • This means if Ghraath auto attacks, or uses another ability while stealthed, he will unstealth and be unable to use Terror of the Void.

Lore: The Void is a place unlike no other. It is not of our world. It is a place between dimensions, home to the horrors and nightmares of Valoran. The Void calls out to those who seek knowledge, and Ghraath is one such victim of its immense power.

Ghraath was once a regular human summoner. He lived out his life peacefully until, one by one, his friends and families were slaughtered by the haunting phantom known as Nocturne. The horrid beast attacked his family in their dreams, catching them when they were helpless. Driven by the love for his lost family, and his own selfish revenge, he sought the knowledge and power to defeat such a powerful creature. Through heartbreak and anger, he found himself answering to the call of the Void. Stories and forbidden knowledge had led Ghraath to believe that seeking what the Void had to offer was the ideal choice to help aide him in his efforts. Unfortunately, to his dismay, the Void and it's otherworldly inhabitants had different plans for him.. Though strong willed, and determined to control it, the Void's power began to overwhelm Ghraath, transfiguring his mind and body into something new and horrifying. The once human, Ghraath found his body change. His skin disintegrated and his mind fell into insanity. His once familiar features, scarred and disfigured into pure, concentrated evil.

Within his new form, Ghraath no longer deciphered the sole purpose of revenge, but total dominance, and to be seen as the true darkness. After many years of insanity and torture, the new-found evil now known as Ghraath, broke free from the Void, releasing himself from it's twisted shackles. In his absence, the great Nocturne had been captured by the Summoners of the Institute of War. For Ghraath, the torture Nocturne was receiving wasn't just. He believed Nocturne required more torture to be brought to justice, as he willingly joined the League in exchange for a chance to show his dominance over Nocturne and to take his rightful place as true Darkness.

Possible Quotes: "To seek true power, revenge is the quickest option. Darkness attacks the heartless and drives them with unimaginable power." -- Ghraath

"Suffer as I have suffered and watch what TRUE darkness can do!" -- Ghraath, in direct correlation to Nocturne.

Appearance:

Ghraath's body has been consumed and disfigured by the power of the Void. Though his body has retained the same shape of a regular human, his features have changed erratically. His skin has peeled away, leaving a somewhat muscular appearance to his flesh, and his skin has been replaced by a lingering dark aura, flowing across the entirety of his body in an upward fashion. His fingers have elongated, the tips sharpened into splintered claws. His face has partially burned away, leaving remnants of features and skin, his head enclosed by the same aura, only slightly lighter in colour. Parts of his skull can be seen through the flaming aura, leaving him with a possessed and demonic demeanour. A fraction of his jawline is missing the skin, showing a good portion of his teeth and jawbone. His armor is mostly non-existent with the exception of a pair of tattered, dark brown pants and an exhausted shoulder plater that hold the remains of a shabby cloak.

((Art is hopefully coming soon! :D))

Skin Ideas: Open to any ideas you guys have.

Tips and Tricks:

  • Playing as Ghraath:

    • Ghraath has a lot of mobility. Make sure to capitalize this by using Void Weaver to engage and escape.
    • Void Weaver's dark cloud is a good way to throw off enemies. A well placed cloud can make for an easy escape tool.
    • Ghraath is good for both assassinations and engages, so make sure your team knows your play-style.
  • Playing against Ghraath:

    • Ghraath is surprising, so make sure your team is ready for him when he engages.
    • Using item 2043's and having item 3364's are key to ruining Ghraath's stealth.
  • Playing with Ghraath:

  • Make sure to be ready for quick, surprising engages with Ghraath. Having a team that can follow up on his engages is needed to succeed.

Speech and Hotkeys:

Ghraath's voice is two toned. One is deep, and the other is high pitched and insane.

Upon Selection: "Let me show you true darkness!"

Upon Starting a Match: "Let the suffering begin!" "Let us bind this world in darkness."

Attacking: "Bleed! BLEED!" "Let the blood flow from you!" "Feel the darkness seeping through your bones!" "Taste true fear!" "SUFFER!" "Suffer as I have! You wretch!" "Let me taste your blood!"

Movement: "I don't remember Valoran being so bright.." "The light burns my eyes sometimes." "Darkness.. DARKNESS.." "Let us find someone for the darkness to consume.." "Nocturne cannot hide forever.." "Watching me, are we, Summoner?" "You can run.. but you can't hide..." "Come out, come out wherever you are.." "Running away will get you nowhere!"

Taunt: "GET OVER HERE! .. Or do I have to come to you? Nyahahah" "Your suffering will be over soon, I can assure you.."

**Taunting an Enemy Nocturne **: "Well well.. What a dream come true!" "Lights out Nocturne! It's BED time!"

**Taunting an Enemy Zed **: "What's the matter, Zed? Afraid of your own shadow?"

Joke: Ghraath belches "Oops... I voided again.."

**Upon killing an Enemy Nocturne **: "I AM THE TRUE DARKNESS! NYEAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Upon casting 'Ruthless Howl': "Die!!!!" Ghraath let's out a disturbing high-pitched roar. "Tremble in fear, weaklings!"

Upon activation of 'Frenzied Bloodlust': "You can't hide from me!" "I can see through the darkness!"

Upon casting 'Frenzied Bloodlust': "You can't outrun darkness!" "Run and hide, it will do you no good!"

Upon activation of 'Void Refuge': "Embrace the dark..." "Too.. Much.. Damage..." "Time to bask in my own darkness!"

Upon casting 'Terror of the Void': "Let me show you TRUE nightmares!" "Embrace the pain that I have suffered!"

Upon Death: "No! NOOOO!" Ghraath screams before falling into a pit of darkness.

Like I said, I am open to any sort of ideas on balancing him, and such. So PLEASE leave your input.

And in payment for your feedback, please feel free to leave your OWN ideas, so that we can help each other.
