** *All similarites to other champs are coincidence and your paranoia getting to you. :P **
Kalamunja is a melee Fighter, adept at duelling in a 1v1 situation, and rushing around the battle dealing consistent damage.
Lore:
Magic runs wild in the Plague Lands, remnants of forgotten wars. An otherworldly sentience drives the wildlife, seeking vengeance on anything that moves. It's in the Plague Lands where we meet Kalamunja, on an expedition to find a rare herb within the thick, untamed jungle. Kalamunja found himself trekking through the Plague Lands armed only with: his machete, his brother's trusted scythe, as well as two vials. One empty, and the other containing the partial essence of his brother's soul. Despite the danger, his mind was only on one thing; his brother who lay dying in Ionia, his heart cursed with feral magic.
Wandering along the floor of the jungle, Kalamunja was unaware of the sentience tracking him. As he continued his search, the sentience crawled along his heels, listening to his prayers. Searching out for the herb itself, the sentience encountered and possessed it for it's own. Coaxing him with the temptation of his journey, the sentience brought the herb across Kalamunja's path. Kalamunja quickly retrieved the herb, rejoicing to bring it back to his brother, when suddenly the sentience shot out vines, rooting him to the ground. In dismay, Kalamunja dropped his machete, and began to swing wildly at the vines with his brother's scythe. Though he put up an exceptional fight, at last, the vines overpowered him. As the vines drained his life force, Kalamunja began to chant, screaming and praying for the power the Dragon of the Undead. Soon, his skin began to heat up, the dragon's life force filling him. His skin began to glow, markings of the dragon appearing on his skin. His prayers and chants slowly turned into anguishing screams, his life force being filled with that of the Dragon. Kalamunja began to black out, the dragon's essence beginning to burn the vines, causing the sentience to retreat. Finally free from the ambush, his prayers had been answered. But at what cost? With one final scream, his body, now powerless, gave out under it's own weight and collapsed onto the jungle floor, the essence of the Dragon of the Undead encircling his body with flames.
When Kalamunja awoke, he was not but a twisted shell. The essence of the Dragon had left his skin charred and scaly and the Dragon's instincts took over his own senses. Not only was his body changed, but his weapon as well. As he glanced down at his hand, the scythe's body had tempered, the once wooden handle turned to that of a red dragon bone. The once single bladed scythe, had been altered to have an extra blade, the new blade emerging beneath the original one. Burned and etched into the larger blade were certain, unknown markings. A seal. He bent over and grabbed the blade slowly, standing to his feet. Upon doing so, flames shot down the blades, lighting them ablaze. In fear, he dropped the weapon, the flames snuffing out. Confusion filled his mind. Retrieving the weapon from the ground a second time, the flames licked up the blades again, encircling the steel in thin black fire. Unknowing of what had happened and unable to allow himself to return home. With his brother left for dead and his own body distraught, he sought the only answer he could.
Death.
The only way to truly free his soul and to give him peace was death. In a massive effort, but to all dismay, his body wouldn't let himself die. Every inch he grew closer to death, the Dragon's rage burned up inside him, bringing his vitals to standard. The more life force he lost in his own body, the Dragon filled with it's own. His mind torn and his body wretched and disfigured, he sought out the only magicians he knew had the knowledge capable of reverting him or destroying him: The Summoners of the Institute of War. Sensing his power, The Summoners chose to exploit the Dragon's rage, caging and reprimanding his powers for the sheer love of the fight. Anger boiled within Kalamunja's veins. The ones from which he sought help turned their backs on him, sending the monster within him into an irate rage. His only wish is to break free and seek revenge on the Emissary that did this to him.
Possible Quotes:
"Those filthy traitorous summoners will atone for their misdeeds. One day I will break free from their shackles and make them pay.. " -- Kalamunja
"My brother's death will not be in vain. I will one day avenge him, even if it kills me." -- Kalamunja
Appearance:
((Art coming soon!))
Kalamunja's appearance is scarred and distinct. With a slender yet sturdy build and stature, the majority of his body is covered in burns and scars. His body looks aged and his face takes on an unforgiving expression. His cheeks, while rugged, are scarred and tattered, burns and scars covering the majority of the left side of his face. His left eye is blackened and inflamed from ash, while his iris converted to a yellowish orange. His other eye remains a beautiful clear white color, however the iris and pupil have been seared over, leaving him with a blank, frosted white eye. His hair, seemingly untouched, with the exception of some ash woven between the locks, is a brilliant, bright orange, spiked up, pushed backward, and wind blown.

From the bottom up, Kalamunja's left foot has taken on talon like qualities, leaving no room for a shoe, so he wears only one tattered boot on his right foot. The boot, though a traditional leather, has seen more than it's fair share of wear, and is barely functional as a boot, the toe of the boot ripped, exposing his foot. His attire consists of a large, black, tattered cloak with the Ionian symbol on it's back, which hangs loosely off his right shoulder. The cloak itself is shredded on the right side, the Ionian symbol sliced and divided. The remaining side of his body, which is half hidden by the cloak, is hideously disfigured by burns and scars, scales breaking through his skin. His left hand, as well as his foot has taken on the attributes of a claw, giving him a scaled hand and pointed, thickened nails. In this hand, he holds his slightly rusted and charred machete. His right hand, though scarred is more human and is still functional. In that hand, he carries his brother's scythe, never allowing the weapon to leave his hand. Around his right wrist is a short rope, that attaches itself to the bottom of the scythe. The scythe itself has little to no damage, as Kalamunja keeps it in pristine condition, and is a brilliant red. The scythe has two blades on it; one large blade and one sharper blade beneath it, about half a foot separating them.
His cloak on the right side, as mentioned is tattered and ripped along the right side, revealing a darkened, slightly scaled and scarred chest. His body is thin, allowing his ribs to be seen pushing against his skin. Along his chest are tattooed markings that resemble a white dragon skull. In addition, he also has markings down his back that resemble that of a dragon spine and his arms have markings resembling a set of dragon wings. Though they are hard to see, they are still quite visible through the burns and blackened flesh. Around his neck he wears a short leather strap. On the strap around his neck, there hangs: a dragon's tooth in the center of the necklace, a small vial containing the essence of his brother's soul, and another small vial on the opposite side of the tooth containing a small herb, which is said to be the herb to cure his brother of his illness.

* **Dragon's Rage** deals a minimum of 80 damage at level 1, and a maximum of 590 at level 18.

Kalamunja grabs the rope around his wrist, and swings his scythe, dealing physical damage to all enemies within a 300-radius area around him. Dance of Reprise can be cast two additional times within 4 seconds, with the timer resetting after each.
All three strikes deal the same damage, with the second swing increasing to a 400-radius area around him, and with the third swing increasing to a 500-radius area around him.

On reactivation of Afterlife's Conclusion or after 6 seconds, Kalamunja summons the Dragon of the Undead, letting it burst from the circle, roaring and flying into the air, dealing magic damage to all enemies in the area and knocking them up for 0.5-1.75 seconds. Skin Ideas:
- Dragon Born Kalamunja
Kalamunja's appearance has been overcome by the Dragon of the Undead, leaving his body fully covered with burns and scales, black and dark red scales covering his skin. His markings are more prominent and he adorns a few new markings on his face, and this top half of his cloak has burned away, leaving him shirtless. His teeth have become that of fangs, and his ears have taken on the shapes of half formed horns. His Scythe and Machete are covered in thicker, bigger black flames, and the weapons themselves are somewhat covered in dragon scales.
Any other suggestions are welcomed!
Tips and Tricks:
-
Playing as Kalamunja:
- Kalamunja's kit is a very aggressive play style. Make sure to position yourself in the team fights properly. Staying in the back, or diving in for an engage will not help you optimize your damage.
- Kalamunja excels at one verse one skirmishes, due to his health percentage damage and his shield.
- Dance of Reprise can apply your passive, New Life Force at a distance. Make sure to apply it whenever possible to maximize damage output.
-
New Life Force is very useful if you happen to die in the middle of a fight. Make sure that if you're going to die, position yourself to maximize the use of your passive.
-
Playing against Kalamunja:
- Make sure to keep ample distance from Kalamunja in early laning phase. Dance of Reprise is a very exceptional poking tool. Do not let him bully you out of lane.
- Avoid Reaper's Tow. If his scythe lands on you, prepare to meet your doom.
- A focused engage on Kalamunja destroys his damage output. Make sure to catch him in a team fight before he casts his ultimate, Afterlife's Conclusion.
-
Playing with Kalamunja:
- Make sure that your team has a strong engage that Kalamunja can follow up on. The quicker the engage, the better. Kalamunja works best with champs like

Speech and Hotkeys:
Kalamunja has a dark, slightly manic voice, hardened by insanity. Kalamunja also talks to the Dragon's life force within himself.
Upon Selection: "Death is an inconceivable victory.."
Upon Starting a Match:
"Burn them all to embers."
"I can't wait to make them suffer.."
Attacking: "Feel the power of the Dragon!" "Time for some singed flesh!" "Burn and suffer!" "Reduce to ash!" "Weaklings! All of you!"
Movement: "With every step, their death creeps closer." "I can smell their burnt flesh already." "Let's go, Dragon.." "Their lives are effortless to take.."
Taunt: "Let me help you break free from that wretched carcass you call a body." "Come forth and sacrifice your life force." "Death may be impossible for me.. But for you, it will be effortless."
Taunting an Enemy
:
"Well well, the sentience returns."
"Would you like to have your vines burned again, Zyra?"
"What a worthless growth. I can't wait to turn you to ash."
Joke: "You only live once? No.. I'm pretty sure I live forever" Kalamunja laughs to himself. Kalamunja sniffs the air "Does anyone smell that? It's like.. burning flesh..." Kalamunja sniffs his armpit and jerks back in disgust "Oh.."
Upon casting 'Dance of Reprise': "A pirouette of victory!" "Let me mesmerise you with this dance.." "Can I have this dance?"
Upon casting 'Ember Breath': "Bones and ash!"
Upon casting 'Soul Benefit': "Dragon! Come forth!" "Wings of the Undead, protect me!" "Dragon! I need your help!"
Upon casting 'Afterlife's Conclusion': "Time to see my true power!"
Dance: Kalamunja takes his scythe and begins to practice with it, spinning it around on it's cable and making different swings, moving as he does so.
Upon Death: The seal on his weapon breaks, engulfing him in black flames. Nothing is left but a charred circle on the ground where he stood, the scythe stabbed into the ground.
Like I said, I am open to any sort of ideas on balancing him, and such. So PLEASE leave your input.
And in payment for your feedback, please feel free to leave your OWN ideas, so that we can help each other.
