which D&D race best represents Yordles?
i am trying to create a character similar to
and i know she would be of fighter class but what race would she be in D&D world?

honestly I'd say to reskin a halfling or a gnome
i honestly forgot about halflings lol
Gnomes definitely. For bandle city gnomes you'll want forest gnome specifically, they fit the personalities to a tee. But yordles like heimerdinger and ziggs fit rock gnome better
what about poppy? what would she fall under?
Poppy has the grit of a Rock Gnome, but the personality of a Forest Gnome, so either/or honestly.
D&D sucks if you play by rules just play poppy in a homemade game.
i cannot. i not the DM. if i had total free reign i'd be using my Inkling class. but i cannot. plus it over discord. so playing a pseduo poppy is as close as i can get. i almost made a poppy like character as a dwarf but i ended up giving them too much armor. but still, what race would poppy be?
I know this one! But I forget their names...
Yordles are described as "furry, diminutive creatures" so as a race, they're pretty much the same as whatever a Moogle translates to in D&D...and I know there's a class in D&D that basically fits Moogles, because I've had this conversation before, but I cant for the life of me remember what it was called...
Actually...I think Moogles may have even made it into D&D themselves at one point...if not...maybe Squirrelfolk?
i need the race though not class lol. i'm right now using a goblin as a place holder.
I meant race. >.>
which version are you playing, and see if "Squirrelfolk" is in there. those are probably about the closest you're gonna get without homebrews and polymorphs.
i asked the DM and they have yet to reply.
Shouldn't Poppy be more a Paladin? Considering her oath to find the true hero and all this stuff.
For race, I agree that halfling or gnome would be the best choice. Tending more towards gnome, considering how crafty yordles tend to be in LoL.
i would play paladin but they have their spells which i would almost never use since it too much hassle tracking spell slots. plus i've never played paladin before.
