Sylas is actually a pushover

i'm sure as time goes on players will play him more but i fought him in two games and he is quite the soft target. he actually isn't as bad as people say he is.

EDIT: several games later and his heal ability is annoying af. healing at least 1/3 of his health. that needs to get looked at.

I remember when they said Yasuo was a pushover.

I remember when they said Yasuo was a pushover.

He was at launch, he needed extensive buffs before he got busted.

Don't ask for buffs just yet. We all know Riot has a fetish with buffing champs released balanced to being OP in the next patch after release as soon as they catch even a single post that asks for buffs.

released balance

Just saying, but if people are going to say "Give them time before you see if they need buffs or not" than at the same time, you've gotta say "Give them time before you see if they're balanced or not." It's the same concept, you can't claim they're balanced day one, just as you can't say they need buffs day one either.

One time i saw him he went jungle. Didn't end well for us.

Just had the same experience. I am withholding any judgement until I see him in lane.

Just played jungle against one and poor guy struggled to clear his camps, fell behind almost right away then i smashed him into the floor with my gold lead.

Depends on how he starts. First time I tried it in a practice game I started W. I think yours probably did that. He needs to level E and Q to jungle. It's stupidly OP with the shield, camp jumping, and relatively low cooldowns. W won't help much in jungle, since all it can do is single target double hit low HP targets.

oh O_O

I played with one just after and while he did much better clearing his camps he was super squishy too, he just blew up a few times trying to partake in the botlane fights.

Seems a bit weird to me, he is as durable as a AP assassin but isnt quite as elusive and mobile as one, but he also doesnt have the tankiness or ability to use aftershock easily either, nor the damage.

I was worried he´d be OP with that ult of his but im starting to reconsider, at least for jungle he seems so weak early that just smashing him with a invade seems pretty easy.

Again..... depends on build. I'm running on Aftershock. You wouldn't think I'm weak :)

Thefrostyviking1 votes

Isnt it hard to get aftershock up properly when it can only be activated by his second E landing?

Well i do approve of the idea though, i basically run only aftershock when playing Vi because i think she has plenty of damage already and only lacks the ability to survive.

Wait wasn't I just in a game with you as Ashe like 15 minutes ago lol

From few games I already played, he will have few/many bad matchups mid IMO, but I like him. One mistake will cost you life tho, since you're melee range most of the times. Anyway let's play 50/100 games with him and then we can talk.

Idk, he seems to do really well in some matchups and I think his passive is super underrated. He doesn't seem that snowbally though

He is with certain enemy team comps. I watched my friend play him today against a lissandra and he hard dove multiple times with liss ult just destroying the enemy botlane. Idk tho we can't just base it off the one day he's been out so far tho.

Only one type of champ gets a pull, knock up, sustain, and a very tactical ult.... I won't say what that type is, but the answer is obvious.

Illabethe1 votes

Pretty sure it's not his heal that is a problem. It's the cooldown on E being almost spammable, which creates potentially more mobility than Talon or Pyke (he can Camp jump from massive ranges over walls...... better than either of them, or Nidalee, or potentially even Amumu)
