do the Riot Employees even play the game?

i don't mean the mods, specialists, whatever i mean actual employees that are in charge of balancing, skin designs, events, etc? because with how terrible things are (from what people are saying of course) i don't think they even play it.

does it matter? i wouldn't blame them if they don't want to play it either since it's just a made in china product now..

what were they thinking reducing exp to lv.30 encouraging SMURFS while the new players have LESS learning phase especially with that ridiculous one shot meta where things explode at lv.2~3 without the need of building items lmfao what are new players supposed to learn if they can't react and realize their mistake.

so many new lv.30 players suffer and get hard stuck in iron/bronze/silver because they didn't get enough experience (their elo is based on how many times they were luckily carried by 2-3 players)

it gets even worse when these new players who weren't trained properly get autofilled for a role they have never tried before, there are so much to worry about so players just quit left and right, it's no wonder they're not making as much money as before and come up with this greedy prestige crap.

I mean the game is still developed in America. Pretty sure only their holding company is Chinese. That said, the game HAS really fallen.

Umm yes they do and you can even watch them too. Riot Blaustoise the gameplay data lead steams a good number of times and some other rioters do steams too.

Some of them don't, ghostcrawler even went on to say that you do not need to play the game in order to balance it...

well that makes alot of sense why the balance is going downhill

No, he did not.

I thought this horrible misquoting had died out by now, but apparently not.

What he said was that someone who is good at playing the game isn't necessarily going to be good at balancing it, and vice-versa.

A good football (either) coach doesn't have to be good at the sport. Likewise the star player could be really bad at giving direction to other players.

The two things are entirely different skill sets, and while there is overlap, they aren't one and the same.
